It definitely makes you cry
“My name was Toby, and Buddy, and Molly and Max and Bailey and Ellie. I was a good dog, and this was my reward. Now I would get to be with the people I loved.” Such a wonderful and meaningful read. I was elated, sad, laughing and in tears throughout the journey which left me with a heavy heart. Thoroughly enjoyed a well written and well researched book. A ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for me! #tbntbookchallenge
Going try to start this one after being in a reading slumps for months!

I couldn‘t put this down...picking up the continuation of A Dog‘s Purpose and the threads of that story. This holds its own as a book and I do think you could read it on its own.
Cameron captures dogs so well; I couldn‘t read this without looking at the dogs in my life and wondering what their internal dialogue is like.
Cameron also creates an interesting viewpoint on life and perhaps also about life and the end of life.
Having read this book many years after the first one, I was concerned that this story wouldn‘t hold up. Or that I wouldn‘t be able to remember what had happened. But really, I didn‘t need to worry, because A Dog‘s Journey was just as sweet as all of my memories of A Dog‘s Purpose. A great read that will make you think about things in a different light. Highly recommended 💚💚💚
this book was the cutest book ever. i cried and laughed and said awe too many times. definite must read
Its cool how Cameron writes the book in a dog's point of view. If only people could still remember their old life...... A touching story about a dog's life. A must read
I‘ve been listening to this delightful story of a dog reincarnated over & over in a particular family‘s life. Very enjoyable.
2017 #136 audio novel it was as good and as emotional as the first one. The story continues. While I didn't enough it as much as the first one (mostly because i knew what to expect) the story still made me teary. Never looking at my dog the same way ever.

When I was a kid, I've read quite a number of books featuring animals. In school there were also great reads like Charlotte's Web & of course James Herriot's lovely animal stories. In my adulthood, I don't read many books featuring animals but these are my recent purchases. I like dogs but I don't have one. Reading about them is fun but sometimes the stories are sad. I dread reading The Art of Racing in the Rain.
I'm excited to start this one before the movie comes out. There has been some controversy with the movie though, due to some trainers making the dogs perform some of the stunts when they didn't really want to do them. I heard there was a request to boycott the movie, not sure if that will happen or not, but I am looking forward to reading it!
Took me three chapters to realise I had purchased the sequel to the upcoming film ? I wanted to read "A Dog's Purpose" before going to the cinema and now I have exposed myself to a massive spoiler! Ordering the first book now but can tell it's going to be a good'un as I was in tears by the end of chapter 3! #wbrucecameron #adogspurpose #adogsjourney #animallover
Just started today.
