Well, this one starts off with a bang! Love the characters to include the secondary ones! I love how we jump straight into the story with this one!

I have read the first 5 of the Black Butler manga (still looking out for the others in the series) and loved the anime Kuroshitsuji, especially the little chibi versions at the end of the episodes 😂
This is my pick for #OminousOctober #Black
That Sebastian is one hell of a butler 😉

My son suggested that i start reading manga so im giving it a try and decided to start with these! 🖤
Here we start another case, which feels a bit slow and not as comical as the others but I still really liked it. We meet Prince Soma and Agni, learn about some British-India history, Hinduism, Soma learns a lesson from Ciel, and we get another glimpse at Ciel's dark past. Let the competition begin in the next volume!! Maybe I should take notes as well 🤤🤤 #awesomeaugust @andrew65
Is he being a little biased? 😂😂 TBH I'd love to see what he does as a Devil in his realm 🤔 #awesomeaugust @andrew65
Wow that took half my work day! But finally finished up the first volume and it's just as fun, wacky, and dark as the first time I read it, loved it 😍😍 Also, I'm just realizing how little actually happened, we only got one case solved! And I hadn't realized how the first anime episode is...not here?! It was a lie!! 😆😆 One down, nine to go!

Anothet part about the manga I really like is that we actually see Ciel's Funtom company products and see his "bold business expansion practices". I don't think it gets much of a spotlight on the anime, and I just love the art for it!! Maybe I should watch some #blackbutler, never got into the mini-arcs like the Zombie one or Murder Mystery one ??

As you will soon learn MUAHAHAHA #awesomeaugust @andrew65
OMG I LOVE THIS 😂😂 It's sad it wasn't in the anime, this childish side of Ciel that likes to pick on Sebastian, like yeah he might be the head of the Phantomhive household but he's also just a kid #awesomeaugust @andrew65
I'd forgotten how beautiful he is 😍😍😍 I brought ten volumes of #BlackButler to work, shhh don't tell anyone 😆 Let's see how many I can get through today 🙂

Post # 2: I‘ve watched this anime more than twice lol. I decided to read the books after. If you like books that have action and slight fantasy in it. Then you‘ll like this one. The drawings were slightly different than the anime. And there were a few scenes which weren‘t in the anime. I really enjoyed being able to hear the first few episodes again without having to watch it. I definitely liked this book and it‘s now time to go read volume 2!
This was generally a good graphic novel, so if you love historical fiction and lots of paranormal, this is the book for you. This book is about the young 13 year old boy named Ciel Phantomhive and his demon butler Sebastian. Ciel at the age of 10 was kidnapped and his parents killed. To survive and get his revenge he makes a deal with a demon, to make his wish come true the demon asked for Ciels soul in return,Then he will be in hell for eternity.
Read 1-144 ❤️❤️❤️ Black Butler Re-read 1st one to the boys my oldest got that it was funny youngest was more focused on tv lol but he tried.. “why does the chef always burn the meat Mom?”
Graphic novel, manga, journal, and a handmade bookmark. Love it all! #bookhaul
A small manga haul! I've already seen the anime for both of these but I really just want a read I know I will enjoy, and I'm curious to see any difference there may be.
This took an interesting turn at the the end. It was entertaining and a little weird, but I can't wait to see where the series goes! Maybe I'll check out the anime.
Toboso packs the first volume of BLACK BUTLER with a good mix of absurdity, affection, and darkness. I like the supporting characters and I'm eager to see how the leads' arrangement plays out, so I wasted no time in requesting the second volume.
Playing catch up on #MayBookFlowers posts!
These are some of my #BlackAndWhiteCovers both of which are manga series. ☺️
Some great characters in these! I am only on volume 5 of black butler, but Sebastian is one hell of a butler. Deathnote is an amazing series, but the ending fell a little flat for me. So anticlimactic 😔
🌟I love when books are set in London or Victorian London. I also love it when characters in books travel to a lot of places, but especially when they go to London as one of the places! One day I hope to visit London. That's number 1 on my bucket list! What is your fave book city?🌟

I struggled with this one. At least in the sense of variety, as most of my POC collection seems to be part of a series.
I also own TokyoPop's Fruitsbasket with matching covers (currently in storage). This may not seem a big achievement, but there are 23 books and they went out of print a while back. If anyone can appreciate the effort that went into getting this set it's my fellow Littens 🙂
I think the most interesting part of this for me was seeing how the English aristocracy is portrayed to a Japanese audience. Decent start to the story and I will likely continue on with the series.
I just couldn't care about anyone or anything in this manga.
