Great just great! Lots of action in this one between Hydra showing up and a ton of Kamala clones. Even Bruno has a girlfriend!?!?! As usual, illustrations are wonderful and loving the series all together.

The series continues to be the best super hero comic I‘ve read.
Ms. Marvel has joined the Avengers, and this collection is filled with action and adventure, tough choices, new friends and family members, and lots of love and growing up. It‘s tough to balance your life as a teenage superhero, who‘s now public, but still has school and family responsibilities to juggle and I LOVED how this already diverse series upped the ante yet again, bringing in even more diversity and discussing even more human craziness.
I have got to say, this series is still doing it right.... lots of fun and action, great diverse characters and storylines, and still some wonderful food for thought for kids and adults alike.
So funny, and I love when Loki shows up in this series...always causing trouble (of course), but in such a fun way!🤣
😂. I love it! This series is so good at showing a variety of opinions. I love some of these new characters, I hope we see more of them!
I really love this comic.
Kamala Khan is trying to balance being a super hero and kicking but with the Avengers or being there for her friends and family.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love this series. It's been too long since I read one! In this volume, Kamala has to stop an evil group who are using technology to brainwash the locals into being okay with gentrification! Also, her brother is getting married, and she has to deal with the normal stress of being a teen on top of being an Avenger! Guest appearances by Loki and Captain Marvel, along with Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor
Just a few examples of why I love this series ❤️
I couldn‘t resist sneaking in a comic before diving into my TBR book...lots happening in this one. Ms. Marvel is stretched thin between family, school, friends, & being a superhero. If this volume is a little more angsty than others, it‘s understandable with everything going on...& going wrong...The juxtaposition between life as a teen & a hero continues to be a strength of the comic. As always, Wilson‘s writing is fantastic & the artwork stellar
Sometimes two comics characters share your Extremely Unpopular Opinion and it kinda makes your night.
(Sorry, y'all. I saw ROTK once, at the cinema, and I'll only watch it again if they release a Condensed Edition where they take an hour out. I'm still grumpy it won the Oscar for Best Editing because PETER JACKSON CANNOT SELF-EDIT. Thank you, Bruno and Mike, for making me feel seen.)
This series got me into comics a few years ago, I‘m not sure why I put off reading the second run. So much fun!
I am especially exhausted today. In fact, I feel like I haven't slept soundly in a week? What the heck, body? So, today I'm harnessing the energy of Ms. Marvel and Mountain Dew to keep myself awake. Ka-pow. 😴
I loved this book! I picked it up w/out realizing it was #5 but was able to follow along w/out feeling lost. Kamala is trying to balance her life as Ms. Marvel with her school, social, & family life. She reconnects with old friends & makes new friends. She saves an ungrateful Jersey City & has to deal with rumors against her character. Oh,& she's failing math. It's tough being a teen & a member of the Avengers, but she manages & learns help is ok
Thanks for the tag @vivastory !
1. Ms. Marvel
2. Arya Stark
3. The Bride or General Okoye
4. Charlie Manx or Negan
5. Another vote for Superman...
6. Did you read this far? Wanna play? You're tagged 😊

And we're back! Another fantastic volume about the struggles Kamala Khan faces both as an Avenger and a teenage girl. Except normal teenagers don't have access to Asgardian magic with which to create clones so...
If only this worked on our current administration. Loved this volume!! I am ready for the next volume, which will have to wait until Tuesday to pick up from the library. This is my last book of 2017, and I think it was a fun one to go out on!
It‘s officially Christmas break and I finally got myself back to the library and back on Litsy! This awesome tree was there to welcome me back 🎄 Will be posting about my library hall in a bit. Also going to try (for I think the third year in a row) to start using my blog again! Every winter break I post up a storm and immediately forget about it once school starts again 😂 thegreyhoundstationblog.wordpress.com
This volume is my favorite so far. Kamala is struggling with her commitments at school, at home, to her friends, while trying hard to be an Avenger. Bruno gets a new take. New characters pump up the diversity: a girl who is not thin, has two moms; and Aamir gets an African-American bride. We see issues of reconciling cultures, being famous, and what truly is important. All that with great artwork and well-written, humorous dialogue. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I love this series so much. This volume deals with Kamalas struggle to manage her personal relationships and her heroic responsibilities. So funny and sweet and Iron Man calls Captian America "Patriot Pants". I died ??

1) I'm reading from Ashland, OR today!
2) I'm most looking forward to the last 3 Ms. Marvel volumes I saved for today! 😍😍😍
3) No specific snack plans, but I'm enjoying this coffee I made last night and put in a thermos so I wouldn't wake up my fam this early
4) I'm in interior design now, but I've never given up my English major ways📚📚📚
5) first #readathon!

Ms. Marvel has been a fun series to read. She tries to be a normal teenager while fighting crime and balancing family/friends. Also she may have super powers but she's just as awkward as anyone else!
Great - but not as great as the previous volumes. Ms. Marvel has a hard time being super famous, being a friend, a daughter and going to school. All at the same time.
I love this family. The Khans always make me laugh.
I borrowed these from a friend and I am not really a comic book expert but started to read Ms. Marvel and I went down the rabbit hole in the weekend
Spent a good bit of my weekend catching up on #msmarvel! I absolutely love these! And I love that she's a Pakistani high school girl who's obsessed with fanfic and superheroes, and just happens to become one herself! The books are fun but also bring up really important cultural issues as well. #multiethnic #junebookbugs
This series is one of my absolute favorites! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Crazy problems compound on Kamala and a lesson was learned. Really cute and definitely a nice, lighthearted read. Bonkers fight scenes.
#readingwomenmonth Day 5: Books by Muslim women! Since I gave away my copy of Persepolis, I've got these two that were handy on my shelves. I haven't read I Am Malala yet, but I'm definitely looking forward to it. Ms. Marvel is my faaaaave.
I decided it was time to continue reading Ms. Marvel. Even though I feel like I missed a lot because of the huge time jump, I still enjoyed it. I really loved the new characters that were introduced and how relevant this book feels to our society today.
This is a perfect Matrix reference. #currentlyreading
Evening reads. I have ten books waiting for me at the library (!!!) so today was about finishing up a few library books I have out already so I can make some returns when I pick up tomorrow. Just finished Sky Dragons; moving on to Ms. Marvel 5 now; hoping to get started on The Snow Child after that. #iprobablywontfinishbeforetomorrow #buticantry #lol 🤓 • #bibliophileproblems #libraryhaul
Once again, G. Willow Wilson gives us amazing Ms. Marvel stories! Focusing more on Kamala's public image and balancing her superhero and civilian responsibilities, Vol. 5 is definitely one that will resonate with readers of all ages. Kamala's ingenuity and efforts to do the best she can for her city, friends, and family continue to make her an awesome character that readers will root for. #comics
I know how you feel, Kamala! This page is a great representation of my life right now. Balancing grad school, work, family, and friends is so tiring. Add into that preparing for graduation, applying for jobs, and fulfilling other responsibilities, and I've got quite the crazy pile of duties. I'm glad I don't have to hide a superhero alter ego on top of all that. #comics
Mommy Duties include bonding with my 15 year old over a Fifth Harmony concert. Miss Marvel wanted to join. Couldn't blame her. Lots of squealing teenagers right about now.
This was one of my favorites, so far. Kamala Khan is caught in the typical female battle of trying to be a good student, a good daughter and sister, and a super hero while fighting crime alongside the Avengers. Rumors tainting her image and Kamala's eagerness to fight the bad guys result in a mess beyond her abilities to set right. An enjoyable story with subtle and not-so-subtle insights to cultures, politics and public image.
Shout out to The Matrix in Ms Marvel: Super Famous
The perfect read for me today - sick in bed and in need of some super powers. Love Kamala Khan!
Okay wtf... just going to fast forward through the end of the world? I legit looked to see if I had missed a volume. Luckily the rest of the volume is so good I will forgive this neglect.. but seriously how do I find out wtf happened?
#riotgrams day 10: favorite comics. I enjoy a lot of comics, but here are my top two! #msmarvel #lumberjanes
