so-soHaving not read the #SevenRealms series before this, I didn't exactly know what I was getting into and it took me a while to get into this book. However, this book was pretty great, and once I got past Lila and Ash's awkward escape (lots of questions about that part) at the University. I got more into the book. I'm don't think I'm hooked enough to continue the series. But I am intrigued by the Seven Realms Series now.
pickNot too bad for the first in a series. I'm officially invested enough that I'm dying to see how the next book plays out.

I've damn near finished my current #diamondpainting and I'm finding working on a bit a night is really helping my anxiety. Working on the tagged book for #LittenListen and finally getting to the point in the book where I'm getting invested.

pickI've been having such a hard time with YA fantasies recently so I was very hesitant to finally pick this up but I am so glad I did! I loved the characters so freaking much. I could have done without the romance element but thankfully it wasn't too central to the story. The world was incredibly fascinating and I got totally sucked into the magic system. Cannot wait to read the next book.
pickContinuation a generation later so neat to see that- war has continued though- fast plot, some unexpected but pleasing twists- didn't end but left fun loose ends to be sort of picked up in the next book.
pickI loved everything about this story except the romance, which was waaaay too insta-Love for my tastes. Definitely looking forward to the next book though!
Also, I think I might be the only teacher in the school who looks forward to proctoring regents exams - so much reading time, and I‘m getting paid to do it!
I am slapping myself for waiting so long to start this series now that I'm almost finished with the first book. It is so good! I love the characters and the world is incredible. Now I have another series I only have the 1st book to and need to get the rest ASAP 🤷🏻♀️
Btw, does anyone else get Throne of Glass vibes from this cover? Cause that could easily be Celaena Sardothien. Or is it just me? Lol

I‘m having one of those days where I just want to read ALL THE BOOKS but there isn‘t enough time and it‘s stressing me out. Then one of my work friends walks into the library and hands me this because “it‘s really good and you have to read it!” UGH WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?!?!

pickI was so excited to find a new series by Cinda Williams Chima! I was thrilled to realize that it is set in the Seven Realms. This book was awesome and I can hardly wait to read the next in the series!
When you are close to the end of a good book and don‘t have the next in the series.....😬 I‘m trying to drag it out until I can get to the bookstore on Wednesday!
pickI really enjoyed this book. Found this in the clearance section at BAM for 4.97. BEST FEELING EVER! It‘s been on my TBR list so I practically squeaked when I found it. It was a little slow for me in the middle but really picks up.

Alright, got the maps out today for an adventure. You can travel to any fictional land, which is is and name ONE essential for your travels. I think I'd like to visit Rivendell or Lothlorien and I'd definitely bring an invisibility cloak. Being invisible would solve so many problems when traveling through dangerous places.
pickAt first I thought it was going to be a page turner but it slowed way down after the first couple chapters. It picked up again about two-thirds the way through and what an ending! So many questions. I can't wait to see what the next book holds. The shortcut that forced the start of the romance was dumb but I still enjoyed the character interactions. Not as good as the Seven Realms but enjoyable. #fantasy #yafantasy

pickJust listened to this with my husband and while this wasn't quite as good as the Seven Realms series it was still great and I am so excited for the next book.
My husband, @KennethTolesJr , has outdone himself this year. Such wonderful wedding anniversary presents! He spoils me so much! Enjoying our time in Branson, MO.
I've been in such a reading slump lately, so I decided to pick this up and so far it's very promising!
It was like kisses were oxygen and they'd been drowning.

pickIf you loved the Seven Realms series then you are going to really enjoy this spinoff! But fair warning, a major SR character dies in the first 2 chapters of this book! You can totally read this without having read the OG series too, btw!
Just got this beauty in the mail on its release day! This is the sequel series to the Seven Realms series by Cinda Williams Chima. And yes, that is a Christmas tree in the background in April. 😳
