I‘ve read the first in the series and have this (3rd in series) on my TBR.
Enjoying this cozy mystery series so much. I love all four of these women. Plus, there is character development and depth with them, which makes the series better. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have always been told that if you see a cardinal, someone from heaven is visiting you. Then I read this a minute ago and thought I would share.
Nora Pennington had no idea how much the rain would change her life.

Nora helps solve a mystery surrounding the Inn of Mist and Roses. It's a mystery that costs two people their lives, and threatens the lives of others.

Book three in the Secret Book and Scone cozy mystery series. I really enjoyed the first installment.
One of the many reasons I love this series is Nora and her mug collection. I am a serious mug collector and I appreciate their ability to talk for me, before and while I‘m caffeinating ❤️ this book didn‘t disappoint and I love EA‘s ability to do a succinct retell that doesn‘t fill pages with stuff I already know
Working my way through this cozy mystery series before a book tour for the latest. Number 3 is a good entry that introduces a fun new bookstore employee for Nora as well as several other new characters & local history. It makes me long to be a bookstore owner/bibliotherapists in a quirky small town—albeit one with less murders… 🤔Love all of the book mentions & references in these books & learning more about Nora‘s past & her friends‘ stories.
I can't do candles because scents bother me too much.

I had a feeling this book would get used a lot today but it is the best one on my Kindle to read #bycandlelight. Paired with my Reading Fireside candle (toasted marshmallow & autumn fire). I may be tempting fate by lighting a candle tonight with scheduled thunderstorms & winds in the weather all night. Hopefully the power stays on 🙏🏼 as I have a long day leading Orientation tomorrow.
#WinterGames #FestivePhotoChallenge #TeamGameSleighersI have the first in this series on my kindle still unread. This one is the third that I picked up today for $1.99. 16 pts
Read it out of order and still loved it! I enjoy this series almost as much as her book retreat series!
Currently reading. This is the 3rd book in this four part series. This series is relaxing and enjoyable with some amateur sleuths solving the mysteries..
The 3rd book in the Secret, Book, & Scone Society mysteries. Really enjoyed this one—it introduces a really fun new character & has more than one mystery. My only issue is editing—2 times the same info is repeated about a page apart & there‘s a few typos. I‘m happy to read more about Nora‘s world in the next book. These books make me want to go to a bookstore.

I have enjoyed this cozy series, including this book, #3. Small town known for its healing properties, hot springs, a bookstore owned by an intuitive, almost magical bibliotherapist. She has uncanny abilities to match books to exactly what a person needs. 4 women, each carrying a heart wrenching secret, begin bonding over the course of this series, solving mysteries along the way.
It's paperback release day for “The Book of Candlelight” by @elleryadams !
I love this series as it is set in a charming fictional town here in NC. The characters are so fun. If you haven‘t read this series, I highly recommend it.
Discovered this spiderweb in the yard when I came back from my #audiowalk.
I just loved this book. The society is growing both emotionally and in numbers. This story just makes you feel good and want to grab your girlfriends for a get together! #11thcozyofthemonth #cozyinthesun
One of my favorite cozy series is in this issue of Tea Time magazine's cozy corner. I need to get this latest book.
Love this series! I liked the new characters and the adventures of the original group of friends. I wish Nora‘s store, Miracle Books, was real because I‘d enjoy seeing her window displays. Enjoyed her bibliotherapy picks too. My TBR continues to expand. The scooter makeover sounds absolutely delightful and makes me want one of my own. Looking forward to the next entry in the series.

Finished my first book of #BFC28 and added a multivitamin to my daily medication schedule. So far, I haven‘t missed a day!
I love the Secrets, Scones, and Books Mysteries. The women have a great friendship, they range in age from mid-thirties to early-fifties, and the mysteries are pretty good too! To top it off, I love how the author includes Nora‘a “bibliotherapy” picks. ❤️
(Picture is my WFH situation. 😂)
I really enjoyed this cozy mystery by Ellery Adams. This is the third book in the series and it has become one of my favorite cozy mystery series.
One thing that I really enjoyed about the book is the mention of so many different novels throughout. Nora uses books as therapy for many people and it could not be more fitting. By mentioning the books, the author opens up so many more doors for her readers.
I loved everything about The Book of Candlelight. Engaging characters and a marvelous mystery.

Ellery Adams is often hit or miss for me, except for the Secret Book and Scone Society; I‘ve liked all three of them so far including this one which deals with a death and a family secret.
I'm absolutely smitten with this series! cozy mysteries with a bite. Nora and her friends, fellow business owners / managers, form the secret book and scone society. Honestly, I wish the name they chose are stronger but... It is what it is. These ladies are strong! Kind, caring, compassionate, smart, spunyy, and "bad-ass"! I love the twists and turns the story takes and I can't Wait to see what happens next in miracle Springs!
Loved this book! This is one of the cozy series I greatly enjoy reading and this latest entry is no exception. I especially enjoy when all the characters grow and are better fleshed out and I‘m loving the evolution of Nora and her gals!
