My favourite villain

4th book in the Disney Villains series. I loved the first 3, and was really looking forward to this one. Sleeping Beauty was the 1st Disney film I owned on VHS as a girl, and so Maleficent has always been my favorite villain. However, this book fell flat for me. I‘m not sure if the recent Maleficent movies had anything to do with this feeling, but I just didn‘t like the backstory that was built for this one. GREAT narrator though!!

This one explained how Maleficent became evil and why she really got so mad about not being invited to Sleeping Beautys party that day. It connected well with the others but I wanted more information on why the odd sisters did what they did to Curve

🌟🌟🌟/5. This is the only book in the series that I didn't enjoy as much tbh.

As a fan of the series and loving maleficent, I could not wait to read this one. Though I loved the new storylines and character development, the ending left some to be desired.

I'm enjoying this villains series so much. I love how the stories are interwoven and are a sort of a behind the scenes to the stories I've grown up knowing.

Finally caught up with this series.. the last two were not my favorite. I feel like the story focused less on the villains and more on side characters (specially in the Ursula book). However I will continue with the series, the plot twists were interesting and I would like to see the next villains that will take place in this series.

This whole series has been sitting pretty at the top of Amazon‘s fairy tale retelling chart for ages. (Disney, Disney, Disney, Cinder, Disney, Disney…) So, frankly, it‘s a little weird to see one of them on sale. Why would they bother? We don‘t know, but grab it while you can. Before they change their minds.

This is on sale for the kindle today for .99 for those that like to read on the kindle. Paperback cost 42.55 and hardcover cost 13.28 on Amazon. I don‘t know why so much though so this is a good deal for the kindle.

Fairest of All was my favorite for sure. The Beast Within was not what I was expecting and was okay. Poor Unfortunate Souls was pretty good. Mistress of All Evil was pretty good, but I didn't like the ending just because it felt like it was missing something. I would still recommend them for Disney lovers!

This is the only Salander book I didn‘t yet have, I‘m obsessed with chocolate & Disney & that is a SIGNED copy 😍😍😍 & I LOVED The Borrowers movie when I was a child! I was obsessed & yet I‘ve never read the book 😳
