New #bookhaul
This is the book tie in for the movie. I like the movie and getting more into the character's heads is always fun. I especially enjoyed more of Qi'ra's and L3's story.

I love when authors hide little Easter eggs in books.

1. Tagged – I purchased it at the Exchange soon after I got out of quarantine. I didn‘t purchased any books in July 🤔
2. To read, my balcony. To listen to audiobooks, the car
3. Never found a song that sums me up, but one that fits my current mood is Perfect Day by Hoku (from the Legally Blonde soundtrack)
I enjoyed the novelization and learning more about Han and where he started and his motivations. I thought it was well done. Of course, I didn‘t have any expectations of this book other than I thought it would be a fun read. And it was! 👍🏻👍🏻
Note: I have not seen the movie. I know some folks were disappointed with the movie. Regardless, since I haven‘t seen it, I have no comparison.

1. I started the tagged that I bought yesterday at the exchange, and also Shockaholic and The History of Bourbon
2. The Adventures of Tom Stranger, Interdimensional Insurance Agent by Larry Correia
3. That will depend on what numbers are drawn for July‘s #bookspin!
🤣.... 🤫 don‘t tell him!
#StarWarsBuddyRead
You‘d think I‘d get tired of the novelizations, but the story is still great, and you get a bit more Val and Rio (I‘d happily read whole stories of their exploits), more Qi‘ra and what happened in the missing years, more L3 (she REALLY needs her own TV series/something), Han in Imperial flight school, and more of Lando and his capes. So much fun, and I‘m still amazed at how versatile John Williams score is as it reused in all of these audiobooks!
Off on a new adventure!

The next book for my #SummersEndReadathon @Clwojick
Couldn‘t help but notice our 2 books a month in the summer was a total bust & most people are just reading/finishing June‘s pick. So I revamped the schedule back to 1 a month going forward....which means based on our last vote August‘s read is now Solo, and I‘m pushing off The Princess, the Scoundrel, and the Farm Boy until September. Hopefully that works for everyone and will give everyone a chance to catch up a little.

Just a reminder, it‘s July and these are what‘s up next in the epic #StarWarsBuddyRead (summer edition)!

I watched the Solo movie on a tiny airline movie screen, so I really enjoyed this audiobook. It made some things much more clear and I appreciated reading what was going through Qui‘ra‘s head, as I remember finding her quite inscrutable in the movie. Loved the epilogue too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Reading outside on this lovely Florida day 🌞
A nice companion to the movie! I love that it added several passages from Qi‘ra‘s perspective - she‘s become one of my favorite Star Wars characters! I wish “Solo: A Star Wars Story” had done better at the box office; it‘s definitely worth seeing/reading.
OMG THIS BOOK IS AMAZING!!! THAT ENDING!!! OMG I WOULD'VE KILLED TO SEE THAT ENDING IN THEATERS!!!
Hands down the best Star Wars novel and honestly one of my fave Star Wars books in general now. READ THIS BOOK
I can‘t put this book down. I‘m at a loss for words. L3 has made me sob several times
Mur Lafferty is coming for our heads. I think this is my new favourite Star Wars novel
