Day 17 of #30junebooks - blue books! I decided to just pull blue books from our kids‘ book collection this time. So many favorites in this #bookstack. 😍
Hi everyone! I hope everyone had a great Easter. I was very busy this weekend. I didn't have alot time for reading. I'm happy I least finished Sapphire Blue. I really enjoyed the second book. I'm looking forward to read the last book. #litsy #kindle #kindlefire #paperwhite
This is what I call "middle book filler syndrome" where the author wants to stretch it to a trilogy when in actuality, it could've been a duology. It felt like a lot of repeating activities and spinning your wheels plot-wise which was kinda frustrating. I still enjoyed it but this could've been cut down and a hundred extra pages could've been added to book one and three. I also thoroughly detest this cover
Ugh I kinda hate myself cause these covers make me angry but I actually enjoyed Ruby Red and really wanna pick this up today
Ruby Red, book 2, translated by Anthea Bell.
Gwen is learning to navigate her abilities and trying to solve the mystery of the Circle. Lucy and Paul seem trustworthy, but everyone keeps telling her they are the villains. Luckily, she has the help of her best friend (and Google), her various ghost companions, and the hilarious gargoyle demon Xemerius. I found her insta-love with Gideon annoying, but otherwise this is a fun read.
It's cold and dark outside and after some serious reads I need something light... I hope the German is not too hard as I'm rusty ;)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Sapphire Blue. It still had that juvenile feel to it for the ages of the characters, but the mystery and plot twists have intensified making the story much more interesting than the first.
#blue books! #2018bookbinge (I‘m surprised how many blue books I had, just in the YA part of my shelves!)
I am completely loving this series! Time travel, intrigue, romance...more please! Perfect listening while running errands today.

Loved this one! This is the second book in a trilogy (I read Book 1, Ruby Red, a while ago) and I am currently reading Book 3. Awesome YA time travel adventure with a little bit of romance.
Second book down in this trilogy and I highly recommend it. 📚
Gwens life has been a roller coaster since she discovered she was the Ruby, the final member of the time traveling Circle of Twelve. ✨✨✨✨
Ich liebe diese Bücher einfach ? Kerstin Gier ist eine meiner Lieblingsautorinnen aus Deutschland
"Why couldn't Gideon act normal? First he kissed me (more than once, at that!), then he was back to talking like a lordly Grand Master of the Guardians' Lodge again."
Why is Gideon so insufferable?
Not high art, but solidly entertaining. Enough of a mystery to keep me reading.
Better living through origami.
I'm enjoying this series so far. It's fun, and funny, and a light easy read which is exactly what I was in the mood for. And bonus! My Dove's chocolate promises told me to "Actually go to a bookstore." Well, you don't have to tell me twice! ?? #easyreading #chocolate #whythehellnot
70 pages further and I can't put it down... I can't help it but whenever I buy a new book I have to read it when I get home.
sooo great!!! i love this trilogy so much! I suggest you to read it! unfortunately it's just in ebook
