This book was great. It follows Asajj Ventress after the events of the Sixth Season of The Clone Wars. It shows both sides of the force being used and how even those who only use the light side can make mistakes that can lead to disastrous events. Plus the sass in this book lol. Overall a great read.

Oh! My! Goodness! This book has definitely lived up to the hype.
I absolutely love the world building; it was vibrant and detailed. I love the characters with my favorite having to be Amari and those plot twists! Holy moly!

I loved it. Young Leia was written perfectly. She is still unsure of herself but you can see the future leader of the rebellion emerging and it's great. Now I'm off to rewatch all the movies.

This was a great first book to a trilogy. It leans a little more to the y side of YA but that was fine by me. I will be passing it on to my daughter to read.

The main character in the book reminded me of Celaena in Throne of Glass, all sassy and hard, but we see glimpses that's not how she really is. I thought the story line was ok, but I want to see where it goes so I'll be reading the next one as well.

“Passion is wholehearted devotion; it is fervor and agony; it is temper and zeal.” This was a pretty good book. It started off a bit slow but still kept my attention. The end picked up but I wish it would have been a bit more. I understand it was supposed to be a stand-alone, so I understand why it ended the way it did. Overall it wasn't bad though. I enjoyed the characters and world that was created.

Vicious was another great, dark and twisted read. I love the new angle on the hero/villain trope and how the author kept going back and forth between the past and present, slowly revealing things as I read. I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I loved this book! It was dark, twisted, and so suspenseful.
Audrey Rose lives in historical London with her father and her brother. She secretly studies the human body with her uncle, Dr. Wadsworth. Their studies lead to their involvement with murder cases that begin popping up and eventually point to a serial killer on the loose. The more involved she gets the more the evidence seems to point to Jack the Ripper being someone she may know.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Sapphire Blue. It still had that juvenile feel to it for the ages of the characters, but the mystery and plot twists have intensified making the story much more interesting than the first.

I'm giving Ruby Red ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The story has a fun juvenile feel to it, which is not horrible if that's what you are looking for. I think my daughter would enjoy it. I am enjoying the mystery of the whole story and will be reading the next book in the trilogy.

I'm going to give this one ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The plot was still great, but for the first part of the book the author is very repetitive. She starts out summarizing the first book, which I'm okay with but then kept repeating it to the point it was annoying and I would skip whole paragraphs. Once I got past that though I thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the book.

This book has what I'm starting to call the "first book syndrome". It's starts off a bit slow and I didn't connect with the characters until the end of the book, but by the ending you definitely want to pick up the next one.
I also love the world that is being created and hope the next book delves in further.

398.2 I felt the same way. I had high hopes for it 7y

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. This book is definitely not Chaol's novel. Perhaps it was meant to be in the novella stage, but it has definitely grown past that. There are three POV. Chaol's, Yrene's, and Nesryn's. There are new characters, as well, that I hope to see in the next books. Although the story centers around Chaol's disability the story furthers the whole series with key information that the group discovers throughout the book.
