Prompt: Kobe Bryant
#FallTreasures - Face On Cover: Some voids are never filled! This book is still on the coffee table. A legacy remembered!
I was a huge Bulls fan in the 90s, but my NBA watching days were over once MJ retired the second time, so I missed most of Kobe Bryant‘s career. I was horrified by the crash that happened in January; a tragedy that seems like lifetimes ago.
Kobe‘s book is wonderful. Great photography by Andrew Bernstein is combined with insight into how Kobe studied and played the game. I found his approach fascinating; it made me miss my days as a fan. Loved it!
Beautiful photography and amazing insight into the game! 🏀
I‘m going to start reading this very soon. My team and I have been crying for days over the loss of Kobe and his daughter. Nike as an entire company held 24 seconds of silence at 3pm in honor of this absolute legend. When I began my career at this brand, I had no idea how much bigger than basketball you were. Thank you for everything. We miss you, Kobe.
Still having a hard day 💛💜 Glad I have you all as distractions!
#RIPMamba RIPGigi, and the seven other victims of the horrific helicopter crash.
Not only did Kobe write the tagged book, he also cowrote some juvenile titles. I didn't know know that till today.
Southern California is in mourning tonight. People are gathered at the Staples Center and a park near the crash site, paying respects to the Legend, his rising star 13 yr old daughter, the pilot, and the six other passengers.

How it must have felt as a father in those final moments holding his daughter close knowing what was to come... I can‘t even imagine. I pray for his wife, other children and family, friends, and past teammates... I pray for the others families who had family members on board... We are never promised tomorrow, let your family know how much they mean to you today... 💔💔😪😪 2/10/11
Maybe I can get back on here tomorrow😥
(Paying my respects with the Post Title.) My first ReadAThon meant so much to me, THANK YOU, LITSY COMMUNITY! Thank you, again, Amanda xo. I definitely needed to plan better, so I got about 13 hours in... I had forgotten to turn my timer back on a couple times, facepalm.
Our family is in mourning. Today, the city of LA, basketball and everyone who is still breathing lost a legend. My husband lost a piece of himself. And Kobe‘s family lost not only a father and husband, but a daughter. This is one of the books I bought for my husband just recently. I hope he finds comfort in his words. #RIPKobe #GOAT
Leaving your house & returning back safely is such an underrated blessing.~unknown
Rest in peace Kobe.
Kobe everything is sold out. I scored this brand new hard copy at Half Price Books today. It's only right to start reading it now.
News reports say Kobe Bryant‘s helicopter crashed in California today. Five passengers died.

I‘m absolutely speechless and in shock one of the greats !
Of course I loved it. Im a huge Lakers fan and hearing Kobe's view of everything was great.
