I have not been able to find time to read, with all these essays I have to write for school it‘s consuming all of my time! But I need a down time to let my brain relax and hopefully this book will be an interesting read so I can relax

Trying to find time to read between my classes and running a house; and of course I picked a classic, a thick book of course! 🤷🏻‍♀️

It‘s hard being a bookworm but even harder to borrow books from a library only to have to return them!! I want all the books!!

I have been far from home and my library for the past 3 months, attending online school and am soon to return to my home and library… couldn‘t be happier 💖

I think I love this book!!

Ughhh I‘m not enjoying this, the more I read , the less I like it; I got most of the way through it and just decided life is too short; I think it‘s different than the movie, I don‘t like how the characters are portrayed, especially buttercup.. so off I go to another book.. so long to this one

Because how can you have a library if you don‘t know what books to get .. frankly I just got the ones that either sounded appealing or I already knew of.. silly me 😂 290 books in and now I find out the right way 🤣

Such vivid descriptions- you can almost see the winter palace ; history well written, Catherine the Great practically comes alive in the reading.. I obviously loved it … does anyone else kiss their book once finished reading before putting it in its place in the bookshelf?

Look what I stumbled across ~ first trip to my favorite bookstore today since COVID! This is one of the books I got!! 😃😃😃

I found this set of books, some the works , some Christmas stories.. either way there are 11 books here- not in the greatest condition but I found them 2 weeks ago and walked away because of their condition and regretted it since and finally we t back today and the lady still had them so I purchased them .. all 11 for $20 . Published in 1865 some of them- even if they don‘t appreciate I still have my antique books 😍

So excited to get started on this one!! Anyone else read it?

I‘m not even halfway thru this book and it has been slow- I don‘t feel excited to pick it up.. I will continue to try

Frances iconic Queen wrongly accused of uttering the infamous “let them eat cake” was alternately revered & reviled during her lifetime....

What should have been an interesting story reads more like a textbook IMO - dry and to the point with lack of emotion so dissatisfied and with that I‘m on to the next book .. hopefully adventure awaits 😃

Oh dear sir.. so far it‘s a bit dull but I will trudge through a bit more and see how it goes

This is it... my last book on Henry viii .. well almost!! I have been on a royal rampage (lol) for longer than I can remember.. I have been on this guy and his extended family for so long.. next is Anne Boleyns diary 🤔

An interesting book I have found!! The Narnia cookbook!! Now I must have the whole chronicles of Narnia ... I can‘t believe I don‘t have a single one!!

Well this is definitely reading like a diary... and I‘m finding it interesting... very large book!! 932 pages to be exact

What you see here is a collage of some of the books I picked out from my neighbors library! I brought home 4 boxes of books, some were history books, a whole entire box on and about horses ( we have 15 horses) the whole game of thrones series, complete works of Jane Austen ( I already have a set but oh well 😍) biography of Mountbatten, and so on etc .. I‘m quite happy 😊

So my neighbors are moving & I got to go pick out books that they no longer want... I only picked out a few.... boxes 😁😁😁

Just got this yesterday and I decided it was time to take an inventory of my tbr books I actually have...I have 63 unread books!!! I have been buying books quicker than reading them 😁 oh but books and books make me happy!!

So this just came in the mail.. I ordered it from eBay!! Such an interesting time in history.. The Romanovs!!!

Yes here we go- somehow this book got overlooked!! And I have been back and forth with the Tudors and Plantagenets.. and i still have to get to the war of the roses! 🤦🏻‍♀️ But for now we are going with this one, as much as I find this Jacquettas story interesting I hope it turns out to be that she is as interesting as she seems to be

I think if you‘re looking for a lot of historic references this is great; I do like facts but I‘m missing a bit of dramatic flair that you get with philippa gregory .. this is still a great book tho especially if that‘s what you‘re looking for

I have been on the Tudor‘s for probably well over a year, numerous books - from the Plantagenets on! I have about 4 more books to get through and I think it is finally time to move on.. no offense but there is a world of books and literary classics, other genres & other royals I have waiting to be read 📚📚📚

This is a very big book- just got it today! And as much as I have read , practically studied Dear Henry viii , I can‘t imagine after reading a book as big as this there would be any stone left unturned... we shall see 😊😊

I received 2 new books yesterday, I am waiting The Secret Diary of Anne Boleyn which is to be delivered today and can‘t decide which to start with... of course the one of Marie Antoinette will have to wait... I‘m enjoying my Tudor obsession 😁

Basically the same story I have read by different authors so I‘m assuming some recorded history that backs up some of the details.. sad story that makes me cry especially for Kat! And this is the story of the Grey girls that makes me wonder why ppl love Elizabeth I .. she is in so many ways like her father .. did she really have to be so cruel? I guess the answer is probably yes
