Epoca: The Tree of Ecrof is a book aimed at middle school children, and has a lot of great lessons for children of that age, including lessons about teamwork, hard work, believing in yourself and recognizing that winning isn‘t everything. The main characters, who are ten years old, are relatable to young readers while still having that bit of magic in the story. It reminded me a lot of Harry Potter, but with a sports twist.
