I didn't post for a while. Didn't have motivation. My love got injured and his dad died in the spring. We've had a tough time. But we're okay now. I was in a reading slump. Started reading some easy romance translated in slovenian. The best reading corner is outside in a hammock chair. Also my daughter finish pre-school kindergarten and in Seprember she'll start first grade. She's growing up so fast.💕🥰

I cracked up multiple times reading this book. Their first meeting had me in tears. I love a grumpy sunshine romance and this was sweet, sexy and just fun to read.

The banter drew me in.

It all started out with a blue note that's attached inside of a wedding dress. A note that brought 2 strangers together. They started as enemies but turned into something more when Charlotte starts working for Reed. It's hilarious, but it brought me some headache when Charlotte starts to overstepped her boundaries. It brought me tears too. But overall, I did enjoy the book. #romancebook ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A cute #romantsy. Sort of enemies-to-lovers. I love the premise: Charlotte falling for Reed because she gets her hands on one of the love notes he wrote to his ex-fiancé, but MAN he is so aloof! A nice slow-burn with some very romantic moments but there are a couple of bummers thrown into the plot that I wasn‘t expecting. They made the hero more swoonworthy, but I expected it to be a little lighter overall. Loved Charlotte and Reed! Loved the end!

I enjoyed reading this book a lot! I became so invested in Reed as the plot went on. I highly recommend to romance lovers.

I don‘t normally listen to my contemporary romances, but I had a credit I wanted to use and this looked good. So far it‘s hilarious, though their secret looking through each other‘s stuff is going to blow up at some point. #behonest #contemporaryromance

This one scored high marks on Goodreads, but it fell a lot short of spectacular to me. For starters, there‘s the weak title that doesn‘t really do anything in terms of selling what the book is really about. Then there‘s the odd mix of demure and sexy that seemed uneven. I love a good love/hate story, but there wasn‘t enough mystery here. Add in illness, adoption and some rather corny and contrived situations and that pretty much sums up this book.

Love a good romance book!

After two differing levels of intense novels, I‘m ready for a palate cleanse. Hopefully a mindless love story with a high Goodreads rating will do the trick. #litsyatoz #letterh

First book of the Year, I was hooked after the first chapter could not put it down. Easy read took me two days to finish it.

These workplace romance novels are usually nothing but trash, and while this one is plenty trashy in places, it's actually a pretty sweet story. The man isn't a domineering pig, and the woman is almost likable. She's definitely relatable, if nothing else. All in all, it's not the best book I've ever read, but it wasn't terrible, and I was happy with how it ended, even if it was completely cheesy. Three out of five stars.

Initially picked this up because it was free on Prime Reading and needed something light. This book EXCEEDED expectations. Very sweet story that was hard to put down, read all in one sitting! Very heart-warming, lovable, more complex characters with amazing, sarcastic banter and chemistry, with the best wise grandmother. Highly recommend as your next light-hearted romance book!

But you need to figure out how to love the life that you have, while you work on the life that you want.

Very, very cute and definitely unique to the genre. This book had a twist that I never saw coming, and it also refrained from falling into the creepy rape zone that so many books in this genre tend to. Charlotte Darling is an adorable heroine you can root for without her character ever becoming too unrealistic or quirky for the sake of quirky. Reed is a phenomenal love interest, with way more depth than is standard. #catsandbooks #romance 😍

I struggled a bit with how I was ultimately going to rate this: One one hand, it was a good story not only about romance but also life challenges and finding happiness independent of others.

OTOH, I was expecting something more “rom-com,” more focused/unified in the narrative itself, and based more on actual “hate notes.”

I will say though that this is one those times where the cover model actually looks like the male love interest inside! 😍

a little enemies-to-lovers romance that started off with a lot of promise, but kinda went off the rails at the end. still, it‘s loaded with cute, romantic moments between the main characters, and I enjoyed it more than a couple of other 2018 romances with way more hype. also I totally stalked the cover model on Insta. 😍 ps - this one‘s free on Kindle for Amazon Prime members. #romantsy
