Absolutely loved this story. Gives you a lot to think about. Would you help someone who you love so much and who is in so much pain and feels like they have no other way out kill themselves? A definite must read

Nothing wrong with a little reading during downtime at work, right?! #NightShift
There are so many topics that people avoid talking about. It can be because they don‘t really want to face reality or maybe cause they just don‘t care. Can anyone ever really know what‘s going through somebody‘s head? Could you stop people from putting and end to their pain?
The mind is a remarkable thing. Just because you can‘t see the wound doesn‘t mean it isn‘t hurting. It scars all the time, but it heals.
1. probably Jodi Picoult or Donna Leon
2. 9 and quite a few piles
3. Random but sometimes try to group favourite authors or history topics
I really love Jodi Picoult books even though I can't read too many in a row before of all the law themes.
See how life long friends are slowly torn apart over a mystery that keeps you guessing until the last page.
1. This was my first Jodi Picoult book and I‘m now an avid fan of the majority of her books
2. Gosh. It‘s been so long. I think it was Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald
3. Anything grilled outside
4. 2 immediate cousins. Lots more extended cousins

Finished The Pact at breakfast today, Jodi Picoult did it again!
Emily and Chris never had to say they “found” the loves of their lives, because they have had each other since the day they were born.
So what went tragically wrong that made Emily want to kill herself? Chris could never live without her... yet that fateful day at the carousel, Chris was found holding the gun and Emily‘s dead body.
Heartbreaking and quite the page turner!
Wow!! Absolutely FRIGGING amazing !!! This story blew it out of he park! Worth every word!!! Wow!!!!! @debthmpsn thank you for this book! Thoroughly engrossing!
I can tell this ones gonna be heartbreaking as it already is and I just started the book today! Bit looking forward to this story anyway! This is a book I received in the Autumn book swap 😊
#fffs @Avanders @debthmpsn thank you so much for your generous box! Everything is so wonderful and I‘m grateful for this beautiful gift. My husband turned the AC to Antarctica setting so I‘m already enjoying this wonderful throw! Those cookies are to die for and can‘t wait to enjoy my new books! They both look great ❤️📖 @Avanders thnx for hosting this fun swap!❤️❤️
Just got back from the lake, and saw that my MFM Book Club swap arrived! I've never even heard of this author before, so I'm really curious to see what her style is like and how the book flows.
Just finished with this book. I am a huge Jodi Picoult fan and this book didn‘t let me down. If you like tense books that keep you reading, this is a must read.
An apparent suicide pact devastates two families... I loaned this one out and it was never returned 😩😩

As I was coming to the end of the latest Kate Mosse, I decided to treat myself to a few books by some of my favourite authors. Now, which to read first? 💕📚💕
Thank you @AmberWB for my #funinthesummerbookswap box. Can‘t wait to read my books.
#NuYear #IdieYouDie It‘s a shock to the tightly woven community when Chris & Emily, friends since birth, seemingly happy well adjusted young adults from two respectable families are discovered to have made a suicide pact. One is dead, one is now facing a murder charge. I strongly disliked this book as it felt contrived. Lots of TW....A story about how well do we know our children, our spouse, our neighbors, our community.
It‘s not that I didn‘t love this book or like it. I think it wasn‘t what I️ was expecting, but not in the way that I️ wanted to be. It was wrapped up too neatly in the end for me and I️ think she could have done a lot more to conclude this one. It‘s such a sensitive topic and even though her research was impeccable, I️ found it to be a little unbelievable some ways. It wasn‘t bad and I️ wouldn‘t say not to read it. Just not my favorite one by her!
One my favorite reads. This book reminds you what it feels like when your growing up and just finding yourself. It reminds me of he bad and the good.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another good book from Jodi 😃
I'm using this novel for #SoulMeetsBody because of the line in the song that says "But if the silence takes you, then I hope it takes me, too." #JuneTunz
Who ever loved that loved not at first sight? -Christopher Marlowe
Let us embrace and from this very moment vow an eternal misery together. -Thomas Otway
A beautiful yet heartbreaking love story. My first Picoult and I was moved to tears.
I read this book a while ago now, but it has stuck with me after all this time because it was so emotional. It's beautifully written in the sense that you see the story from all these different viewpoints (as Jodi Picoult does). It's heartbreaking, yet almost understandable and the relationships between the characters will keep you constantly questioning them and yourself.
I started this last year but didn't get to finish it. Now I'm starting it all over again. My second Jodi Picoult book and so far I'm loving it.
I loved this book. It was the first Jodi Picoult book that I read. Now I have read all of her books!
Wondering why I continue to let myself be emotionally manipulated by Jodi Picoult books...but at least this time, it's in the pool
This was an intense read about love and loss. True love, powerful and a bit scary. It's a book that will stay with me.
Y'all. Y'ALL. This book wrecked me. This pretty cover hides a story of love and loss and desperation; of family, friendship, and betrayal. What do you do when the person you love most asks you to do the impossible? Can best friends, marriages find their way through tragedy? This novel has so many levels and is wonderfully written, but it wrung me out.
Just ran to library without any idea of what I wanted and found this. I usually have a list a mile long of tbr. Hoping it's a good one.
This is what this book is doing to me. It's painful and brutal and desperately sad and I'm just hoping for a light at the end of the tunnel.
I often wonder how readers' experiences affect their relationships to novels. Were I not the mother of a son, man cub, would I have been so moved by this?
One of my favorite Jodi Picoult novels! About young love and death.
The only three peach-ish ones I own! The Pact is one of my all term early-on fave reads, I vaguely remember reading the Zelda one and I haven't read #girlboss yet. #augustofpages #augustphotochallenge
Finished this reread. Of course I loved it. It was the first book of Jodi's I read and now I've read all of them. It's still in my top 5 Jodi books :) and it was the perfect "jury duty" week book ?
