Why You Were Taken | Jt Lawrence

This is definitely my #Julymostanticipated (actually most anticipated for a while now!) and I finally started on it! A thriller set in a near-future South Africa, written by a South African! It really makes me so happy!!! The language, the places, the references...everything is so spot-on and relatable!

Soooo, I might just be a sucker for punishment. I seem to read about 5 books a month. And yet, here's the #tbr I've set for July. Crazy, right? In my defence, there's too many great challenges on Litsy to pass up, #TheSatanicVersesBuddyRead & #agathachristieclub. & 2 of these I couldn't get to in June. & one is for #postalbookclub! With all this reading that's supposedly going to get done, why not throw in 2 photo challenges? #day1

Leniverse You can do it! We're more than halfway through the Orenda already. Agatha Christie books are quick reads. The others look like page turners too. This will be the month you breeze past your 5 book mark. 👍🙌 8y
