Finished my 5th book this month. Super love it!
I'm 34 and I could say Tamora's writing is on another level. I enjoyed reading Becca's story and her new love interest. I have to confess something, after 400 pages in I decided to take a peak right through the end just to know whether I should be invested in Becca' newest beau. I just have to say, Dale is the perfect gentleman, and I love reading a different side of Becca's.

Published April 14th 2009. This is a very interesting book and there seems to be a lot going on. This character in the book does a lot of traveling to figure some things out such as a silver coin and throughout this traveling and finding experience she runs into many different things that affect her in different ways.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Just as good as the first one, and had some new elements I loved! The addition of the scent hound Achoo is probably my favorite thing ever.

I didn‘t like this one quite as much as the first book in this series but watching Beka grow in her position as a Dog and take down the bad guys made for a satisfying read.

A fantastic sequel to a fantastic book. I love how Beka ha grown, and I love that she has Achoo. Those two make a great team. :) Really glad I got the whole series in one purchase. I already started on book 3.

Stressed because of finals so maybe a hard workout along with my one of my favorite audiobooks will help me destress.

Another great listen in the car finished. I think the narrator really makes this for me. She is fantastic. Unfortunately now I need to buy the third one in the series because I have an unanswered question.

I definitely enjoyed this second installment in the Beka Cooper trilogy. Great character development, fast paced story, and Tamora's amazing writing style all make for a great adventure. Can't wait to wrap this series up.

My #shelfie ! About a week ago I finally unpacked the rest of the boxes that had my books in them. The reason? I wanted to reread the #bekacooper trilogy by Tamora Pierce. 600 books later and I still can't find books 2 or 3. It only just now (literally, as I was uploading the pictures) occurred to me that I lent them to someone. Many many months ago. 🤦 #booknerdproblems #riotgrams. The top right shelf is just my #libraryhaul

hlgreenfield That is such a nice looking shelf! I have so many books I've lent to people and just don't remember where/when/to whom! Hope you remember who you lent those to so you can get them back and re-read them! 8y

#booksalehaul 2: got this just to complete my collection. Love this series. Beka Cooper is such a great heroine. Bloodhound isn't my favorite of the three, but it's excellent, & one I am always happy to reread.

So much more mature than I remember these books being. Really loving my Tortallan re-read. And the Beka Cooper books are really standing out for their in depth examination of a society that's changing. Not so young adult at all...
