Taking a break from Invasion of the Tearling, and reading The Sword of Shannara. Tearling is just too much like what's going on in the real world for me right now. I read to escape reality, when reading reminds you too much of reality there is a problem lol.

Finished Goldenhand last night and I must say either I hyped myself up to much or something because it wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be. I enjoyed it just not as much as it's predecessors.
Picked this up today super excited to start reading it haven't had much time for reading lately unfortunately :( still working on Goldenhand.
So begins my next adventure into the Old Kingdom! I am so excited to begin reading Goldenhand. The Old Kingdom, Sabriel, and Lirael have been such a huge part of my life since I discovered the series many years ago. Thank you Garth Nix for creating this fantastic world.

They each sacrificed their hearts for nothing granted they didn't know it but still for nothing. Also what was the point of chapter 48 other than to prove to Bree Claire wasn't making it up? That whole hunt for Gilie to me seemed useless and like a filler chapter.

About to hit chapter 41! It's been a long rough ride with this one but I do like it and I'm very happy I stuck with it gonna try and finish it this week but The Queen of the Tearling is just so good!
Found this hiding on the shelves of B&N after wondering around for an hour aimlessly I took it as a sign. So far I am really liking it.

Taking a small break from A Dragonfly in Amber to read this beauty and Empire of Storms when it comes out in September I have been anxiously awaiting both!!
So I haven't read in a couple of days and it's not like I don't have the time. So this is telling me that I might need to take a break from it in order to finish it. I hate that I'm not able to get into this one :( . My wonderful husband got me Voyager as a surprise so I hope I'm able to get into that one when the time comes. What to do? Advice welcome

Finally I am getting into it I believe all it took was the appearance of Jamie in part two.
Starting to get a wee bit more into it slowly but at least it's a start and so far part one is breaking my heart. She belongs with Jamie! Not in her time period! I really hope she finds her way back to him with Bree. 😭

pickFinished Outlander last night and it was wonderful. I throughly enjoyed the romance between Jamie and Claire. Outlander has shot to the top of the list of my favorite books. I will be reading it over and over I am sure. I laughed, cried and felt so many other emotions while reading Outlander. It's a must read.
