Ugh, friends, I am having a Rough Week. I fell on the basement steps Wednesday night, sprained my foot, and broke a bone in my hand. Now I get a splint for a week before the doctor decides if I need surgery or just a cast. And, of course, I feel just enough better to be bored out of my mind! Nurse Olive, new video games, and fantasy rereads only help so much 👎🦴🤕🦴

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I finally finished the Beka Cooper trilogy! I loved this book just as much as the others, and I‘m going to miss Beka as I move on to other books

Finished up Bloodhound and read Mastiff this week, finally finishing the trilogy. It really was quite good. I skimmed through/skipped the little romantic bits because I found it annoying and distracting from the actual story, but the ending to that last book. Wow. It probably shouldn‘t have, but it took me by surprise. Can‘t wait to read the rest of the Tortall books.

While I liked Beka throughout the entire trilogy, I liked every book less than the one before. This one felt overly long and had so much that did not work for me from the romance to the plot twist. I was also disappointed that we rarely spent any time with Beka‘s friends. It is still always nice to return to Tortall although this series is not my favorite of Pierce‘s.

Still enjoying the adventures of Beka, now with her new scent hound companion. Interesting that Pounce leaves her to her own devices--his story line is one I wish was more developed, or I'm not remembering the Alanna quartet / other George Cooper books as well as I should to get the references.

I loved the Hunt in this book. The plot twist was a shock, and really well done. Not sure about the romance, though. I think I expected something different after the first 2 books. It felt a bit rushed and I was disappointed that Beka's friends just seemed to get written out. Hardly a mention of them. But the story as a whole rounded out well, so I'm happy. :)

FINALLY starting #24in48 #readathon I stayed up way too late last night. I still love this book.

Loving this book, just as a love all of Tamora Pierce's books! Having all the feels about Pounce/Faithful. Would love a book all about Pounce's adventures. I would recommend the whole Tortall series forever and always!!

This book was amazing and I got the most satisfying ending to a series ever, and yet I am not okay.

I'm getting really attached to Farmer, and I've got a terrible fear that this isn't going to end well.

The Outsiders always has been a quick read for me, so it's time to move on to Something That's Been On My TBR a Long Time.

This is the last book in the trilogy. It was a great story, but it always feels a little bit sad to finish off a series.

This one hasn't got the love of my other Tamora Pierce, as I've had it the shortest time (this was my very first reread!), but it's proven itself this time around 💙

When you make a tea that was mentioned it the book to drink while reading said book you might be a book nerd. :)
