Finished our annual turkey trot!!
Finished this yesterday but didn‘t get a chance to post!
Another fun installment of the series, though it touches on some heavy issues, like drug addiction and anti-immigration ideology.

Another fun month of reads checking off #WickedWords and knocking books off the TBR mountain 🤓
Another cozy Lucy Stone mystery for #BookedByHoliday. Quick and easy reads. This one hit harder on political and social issues than the others I‘ve read.
I was going to save this for another week or so, but I got on a roll! In some ways this is a “standard” cozy mystery, but it touches on serious issues such as drug addiction and anti-immigrant sentiments. The murder segment is a little weak, but I liked the main character and especially her little asides. For example, she riffs about the Real Simple magazines found in a doctor‘s waiting room, and it‘s so accurate!

It was a super chilly morning but before I feasted on turkey and pie I ran the local turkey trot!!
My siblings, Chris and I ran our first 5K this morning - The Turkey Trot!
Historic homes and gorgeous foliage (and pretty chilly temps!)
Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🍽🍁
Since I wasn‘t sure if I could walk at the Turkey Trot this year (I probably could but even more slowly 🐢 than usual), I‘m volunteering to help register participants and give out packets. It‘s going to be #chilly in the morning. What was I thinking?!?
Also, I need to read the tagged book!

Had to run for the pie and stuffing!

One of the best books in this series that I've read yet! I felt that this book was very in tune with our current political climate and very much enjoyed this particular installment! Thank you Leslie Meier 😁
Hope everyone enjoyed their Black Friday! I didn‘t shop but I much prefer Day 2‘s meal to Day 1‘s :) time to #readbabyread
I have listened to all 6 of these books in the past 2.5 weeks, all at work. It‘s been a ROUGH couple of weeks and I am exhausted. So happy to be off today and tomorrow and to spend time with my family! Also thankful for all of y‘all! Your posts and amazingness make me smile when the days are long!
Being that it‘s Thanksgiving week, and I‘m struggling with my other #currentread , I think I‘ll get into this one ☝🏻 🤔😚
