A decent book but wouldn‘t recommend
Friend Request was a good book. I liked it.
I am posting a book every day from my TBR collection.
Day 11:
#tbrpiles #bookstoread
Just finished my first #bookspinbingo read and my first #WinterGames2020 read.
Solid 4 stars. I didn't see the ending coming and this was an IRL book club read, so hopefully there will be some good discussion.

My #BookSpinBingo board is ready! My goal is to check off all these books for #Scarathlon #TeamSlaughter. 🤞🏻
#BookSpin = Friend Request
#DoubleSpin = Anxious People
This was a perfectly fine thriller. The usual formula of two timelines, one present day one flashback, twists, turns, the reveal.
Im not the biggest fan of dual timelines as I generally find myself more interested in one that the other and that was definitely the case here. I was much more interested in the flashbacks, the present day timeline struggled to hold my attention.
3 stars
Got this from the library today, I wonder if it‘s any good🤔
Highly entertaining, good read. Took me back to the 80s, god I love nostalgia. Quite gripping, a bit of a page turner.
Just started this today, enjoying it so far. Anyone else read it? #thriller #newbook #friendrequest #coffee #saturdaymorning
Finished my #socialmediafocus book for #booked2019 this was an easy read! So good and a great ending! Not sure what I‘m reading next! @BarbaraTheBibliophage @Cinfhen @4thhouseontheleft
Starting my social media focus book while I‘m volunteering at the book store today. #rainydayreading #socialmediafocus #booked2019
This was a bit of a struggle to me, the pacing was a bit off, and the overall experience of this book kind of took away the awe at the revelation part.
I felt totally drained; and by the part that should have mattered I just didn't care anymore and just wanted everything to end already.
#Booked2019 #SocialMediaFocus ⭐️⭐️
I really enjoyed this on audio.... the first 3/4ths very good.
But, I found the last quarter very disappointing 🙁.... still it‘s a pick for the most part. Just wasn‘t feeling the ending at all 🤷🏻♀️. probably somewhere between a pick & a so-so , as it started off well
That‘s one ✅for Spring #Booked2019
#LitsyWalkers I wasn‘t on audio on my walk ... but I am listening to this one on audio for #socialmediafocus & I‘m really enjoying it 👍🏻
I hit 22 hours! That‘s it for me, I didn‘t make 24, but I did beat my time from last year, so that‘s good enough! #24in48 #24in48readathon
Ok, I finished it... Didn‘t love it. It was an ok read. Bummed because I had heard people rave about it.
Been reading this all week. Taking way too long because I‘ve been so busy! This is how I get to sneak in a chapter or two... in the car! #worklife
This was a pretty decent book with a compelling backstory dealing with high school bullying. Amazing how close to real life a fiction book can be. Definitely enjoyed it!
Perks of working at a bookstore (except for the whole retail/nasty customer aspect): I recently received an advanced reader copy of the book Baby Teeth in the mail. Fast-forward to last week when I finished the book and decided to email the person in charge of it. She emailed me right back, we conversed a few times, and BOOM she says she's sending me a care package. Yesterday, I received all of these!! I am ONE. HAPPY. GIRL ❤❤❤
Breaking in my new #KindleOasis with Friend Request to hop off the memoir train I've been on. I've heard good and bad things about this book. I'm almost to the halfway point and it's slow at times but still keeping my attention. I imagine something big will come to a head eventually. Have you read it? Thoughts? #SummerReads #Bookworm #Bibliophile #Thrillers
What a brilliant book if you like a psychological thriller this is one for the reading shelf. Out of the blue Louise receives a friends request from a girl that went missing in her final school year. what does the request mean. All the events of 1989 come back to haunt Louise can she face the person that she was then. How has what happened in 1989 affected Life. This book explores the power of peer pressure and gives lots of food for thought
The premise of this was like a film I've seen of the same name but set in England. The book was OK, there were parts that were quite good and made you want to keep reading, then there were others that seemed quite pointless. There were no characters that you could really empahathise with or particularly like- I found them to be whiney and insipid or abrasive and inconsistent. The end was disappointing, there could've been so much more done with it.
A perfect way to spend an afternoon... my other half is distracted with the football and I get 90 minutes to myself to read 📚🍺
Princess Jubi loves sleeping *on* things:
Books, magazines, junk mail, bags. Today it is a copy of the new Lisa Jewell - keeping it warm while I finish up my April Kindle First selection, Friend Request. Pretty good and oddly enough it reminds me of a Lisa Jewell novel!
Are you only as good as the worst thing you've done? Louise, a divorced mother of one, receives a FB friend request from a girl who was killed 25 years before, or was she? Friend Request is a mystery-thriller that focuses on bullying among teenaged girls. The narrative alternates between the POV of teen and adult Louise, which showst what kind of people become bullies, and how that can either define them, or make them into a better adult
Listening to music, drinking tea and reading. I'm hoping this will help make me tired.
I hope everyone is having a good night. 💙

This was utterly twisted - I couldn't have predicted the immense emotions and rage I felt when reading this! In no sense was it predictable, and I was constantly kept guessing!
Maria is dead. Isn‘t she? #thriller Current read!
