It seemed like the second you tried to tell someone why you loved someone else, it took the luster off it, like pinning a butterfly down in a case—it never quite captured it.

#BookReport - Along with the checked books, I also read Murder at Mayfair Hotel. A solid reading week but nothing that blew my mind. I just started the tagged book last night so hopefully will finish that one this weekend. The unchecked books on the bottom stack are still ongoing as well. I'm already convinced Middlemarch is never going to end 😂
@Cinfhen
Because, it would have been cheating, in a way. You don't get to freeze the picture when you want it. It would have been living in the past and eventually, you just start doing the same jokes over and over again.
Finished this a couple days ago. It was a fun read for the most part, but so many people to keep track of. And one disaster after another Kept befalling the wedding, but luckily it seems Charlie was able to figure things out. Love the family dynamics too.
Excited to start this. Meant to do it in June but now is a good time too
I‘ll give it a 3/5. It was fun, but overly unrealistic from my point of view. The eye openers at the end were good and very much needed, I just wished there was more into them.

Not may favorite by Matson, but cute and fun and perfect light reading for vacation. Kind of a mash up of Father of the Bride and Sixteen Candles in a way. @BookishMarginalia #LitsyAtoZ:M #abecedariantbr
This was a sweet comedies that hit all the right marks! The dialogue was entertaining, there was a nice balance of conflict and humor and following people pleasing Charlie around while she tries to save her sister's wedding is a whirlwind! Some of the subplots were a little underdeveloped and sporadic but overall I will definitely read it again when I need a good laugh! #MorganMatson #SaveTheDate
Hi everyone! I finished reading Save the date. This wasn't my favorite by Morgan Matson. I still really enjoyed it. It was very funny everything going wrong for her sister's wedding. I definitely wouldn't want my wedding to be that stressful. Overall I really enjoyed it. I wish there was a little more romantic parts for the main character. I also didn't think it was very realistic having a 17 year old fix everything for her older sister.
I‘m taking a break from the 30 Day Book Challenge because I got a little busy and off track. 🤷🏽♀️ Besides, I saw someone else take the @EpicReads personality quiz, so I HAD to. And if this isn‘t me, idk what is. #ExcellingInChaos
This book was absolutely wonderful. I have not laughed so much while reading since Pucked. Charlie is super excited to have her family back in town for her sister's wedding. She wants to make the most of this family time but the real question is if she can keep the train on the rails. There are so many family dynamics at play on this book. This is a fun read that I am so glad I stumbled across.
I took another recommendation from LovelyLikeLaura and decided to read my first Morgan Matson book. And I was definitely not disappointed! I love how fun and lively her writing is. I was laughing and feeling sad at just the right parts and I almost forgot it was a book. Looking forward to reading my next MM book!
This book was so cute! Loved how this was a family centered book. The relationships were amazing and so relatable. I want to be a Grant!
Very cute and touching ya rom com. Some of the pre wedding mishaps could have been edited out because it was just a bit too much. But I really liked how Charlie started to see her family and friends for who they really were instead of romanticized versions of themselves. This would make an excellent movie and I‘m now curious about the author‘s backlist.
I love Morgan Matson books, I really do BUT this was kind of a let down. I started this book a while back and really loved it, so naturally I was excited to continue reading but I was just not feeling it. The whole idea is just not practical, why would all the problems of a wedding be handle by two kids - seriously?!? Usually I love the drama and disasters in books but this was just too much!
I loved this book!! All the characters, the drama, the problems and how they are solved. Lots of every day family issues are in this book. I enjoyed it immensely and am sad that it is done ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Go and get it right now!
Tonight we will be reading with our new fall scented Hocus Pocus candle on the warmer....mmm ❤️
Just realized this one is due back at the library this week and I REALLY was looking forward to reading it. Guess I‘m putting all other books aside so I can see how much I can power through! Excited to begin!
Very cute, light, summery read 4/5 stars ⭐️ loved all the wedding drama and how much it focused on family.
Loved this story! I‘m sucker for books that take place over a few days. I like the idea of getting snapshots into people‘s lives. The copy i had, had bonus material at the end, and that just made it all the better! If you like a book with good family dynamic, i would recommend this book!
Loved it!!! Loved that she was so into family, but then realized she needed to step back. Read it!

"You don‘t get to freeze the picture when you want it. It would have been living in the past, and eventually, you just start doing it over again."
It's a good book if yiu love overly dramatic written stories. There were some parts that I like but then at the middle of the story, I found myself getting irritated to the train of events.
Happy sock Sunday! I just finished #SaveTheDate by Morgan Matson. It‘s a cute quick read but it feels more like it should be a movie than a book. I enjoyed the family dynamic but it was a little unrealistic and overly dramatic for me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5⠀
Bookish birthday presents are the best kind of presents
I enjoyed this. Some of it was a little tedious and some didn‘t live up to my hope but overall it was an easy, enjoyable, quick read...even at over 400 pages.
Does anyone else feel like Morgan Matson‘s books are a little too long? Like there is too much fluff in its fluff? I just wish they were a little tighter.
Fun fluff. I felt slightly exhausted by the events in the book. It‘s just a fun, easy tread.

This was cute. Not a book I would have usually chosen but it was this month's uppercase pick. I enjoyed the characters and writing style. Everything that could go wrong did, some of it humorously. I generally don't like a story that takes place over a few days as they seem rushed. I would have liked more before and after of the MC.

Pages read today: 244
I‘ve got 3 library books with due dates checked out but ignoring those to get to this. I‘ve really enjoyed all her other books so hoping this one is good as well.
I'm still in a depressive slump and maybe tracking will help me so I made this log. My goal at the beginning of the year was to read at least 100 pages a day and the year started off great. I'm going to add these pages to my swap and pen pals binder. 🙂 Today, I'm at 60 pages so far for Save The Date from my #uppercasebox subscription. #ya

Morgan Matson proves to me, once again, that she knows how to spin one hell of a summer teen contemporary. I loved following along with Charlie through all of the chaos and enjoyed the cameos of some well loved characters from her other books. Can't wait until next year!

Save the Date was funny and relatable, if not a little too long. Full review on Goodreads.
I took my cousins from Scotland to our (IMO) crappy used book store that also sells new today. She bought me this book against my will (I hate it when people buy me stuff lol) and then I got home to find a little thank you gift from my bff who just stayed with me for 10 days - these socks and gift card to Red Robin! Fun day!!
I‘ve been holding back on book buying in anticipation for my birthday and practically ran to Barnes and Noble yesterday after celebrating with my family to get these little beauties! 😍 #bookhaul
Morgan Matson always has the best early summer teen contemporary romance! This beauty is NO exception and it's SIGNED! 😍😍😍😍
This book was so fun. It did take a little to get into, but still really enjoyable.
Getting ready to read this. My most recent delivery from #uppercase keep y‘all posted. Need to read it before next week so I can start a new one on my trip to Boston. #YA
