Because the problem with knowledge, Miss Rhodes, is its inexhaustible craving. The more of it you have, the less you feel you know," said Atlas.
"Thus, men often go mad in search of it."
Ya'll I don't know what I was expecting. I went in blind and I am absolutely in love with the writing and the different character voices. Fully invested. Can't wait to see where this book takes me.
I absolutely loved this book. What a beautiful story. I think you should definitely pick this book up if you want to feel happiness and read a gorgeous love story. Well done authors.
I have a few books by this author on my tbr shelf so i decided to do an audio from the library. I am definitely ready to dive into her other books after listening to this one.
I liked this story for the most part but I got bored halfway through. I loved the idea of an Edward perspective. I think that it would have been accomplished better if her books had both perspectives throughout as so many books do today.
Yup, im reading it. I am so flying through it almost as fast as i did the original series 15 years ago.
What an amazing book. The author brilliantly brought so many threads together effortlessly and made me sad to leave such a beautiful world. I love how this series ended and how many emotions i felt while reading this. Definitely pick this book
I am so scared to start this because when I finish the story will be over and I don't want that.
I flew through this one. Her writing is amazing. A good mix of character development and story progression without a lot of filler. I can't wait to start the third one.
AMAZING! This was actually a reread so i could refresh my memory on the story. I remembered I really liked it but that was it and as i was reading i was immediately immersed in this world again.
I can see why this book won a pulitzer, it is truly beautiful storytelling. However, I think it was too long winded. This book could have been have the length and still told a great story without all the filler.
I can't believe it has taken me 3 tries to get into this book. The writing is beautiful and descriptive. I am excited to see where this story goes.
Rereading City of Brass and I remember very little of this book but I do know I loved it. Can anyone else relate?
Why does the POV change mid paragraph. Its so frustrating! I don't care about tertiary characters.
So Cal doesn't want to hurt Silvers unless its lakelanders. Just some casual racism. :/
This book was so cute! Loved how this was a family centered book. The relationships were amazing and so relatable. I want to be a Grant!
Wow. This book is going to give me heart palpitations
Oh my gosh. Why did I wait so long to read this series. There are so many threads in this installment and they come together so well at the end that it just left me giggling in disbelief. Almost time for the new one!
I struggled to begin with but I am glad I stuck with it. What an amazing book.
