5/5 stars. If i could give this book more than five stars i would. I absolutely LOVED this book. The hate to love romance, the slow build up to fireworks. It was everything!
5/5 stars. If i could give this book more than five stars i would. I absolutely LOVED this book. The hate to love romance, the slow build up to fireworks. It was everything!
5/5 stars. This book was sooo good!!! I loved the easy going- fun loving nature of Georgie, and at first Travis was the “nothing redeemable” character, but by the end of the book he is so much more!
I DNFed this book, i was not happy with the some of the choices that the main character made and it made me not excited to keep reading the book.
5/5 stars. What a great way to continue this series. I seriously hope we get two more stories to wrap up Nik and Carlos and Theo and Maddie‘s storylines!
5/5 stars. Sandhya Menon did it again! I absolutely loves this book! Not only do we get a continuation from Her first book, but we also get fat rep! I love it!! I think at this point I will read anything Sandhya Menon writes!!
5/5 stars. This book was very empowering! I would recommend this book to anyone who has dealt with negative people in their lives.
5/5 stars. I love the Try Guys, and this book was amazing. I would absolutely recommend the audiobook- it‘s read by the guys and it‘s wonderful listening to them tell the stories.
4/5 stars. This book was quirky and adorable. But i felt like the lead up to the big reveal that they hint at the entire book, was not handled the best. I also did not realize that the main characters best friend has her own book that came before this book!
4/5 stars. This was a great continuation. My only issue is that it talks about Sweetie and Ashish (one of The main character‘s brother) as a couple. This technically was released before Something About Sweetie was released, but timeline wise, it takes place after. It would have been nice to have read Sweetie‘s story first and then this. But it was still very good.
5/5 stars. Not sure if this is my favorite, because i still have one more to read in this series, but damn this is a good one for sure!!
5/5 stars. This series is everything, i would read it forever. Loved reading this back story!
5/5 stars. Absolutely loved this continuation. Hilarious, and it made me fall deeper in love with this quirky family.
5/5 stars. Absolutely loved this. Short, but a perfect way to introduce you to the next book!
5/5 stars. This book was the perfect southern charm book, with just a hint of crazy family thrown in. Can‘t wait to read the rest of the series!
3/5 stars. I enjoyed the beginning of this book, but once they have a big reveal, i did not enjoy everything after. Not my favorite Kasie West Book.
I have loved almost all of Kasie West‘s books, and i was enjoying this one up until the middle of the book and a big thing is revealed. There are still like 100 pages left, and I‘m just not enjoying where the story is going, and I‘m just continuing to say that i finished at this point...
5/5 Stars. Jennifer E Smith knocked it out of the park yet again! A cross country road trip between two unlikely people. Great book.
“You don‘t know what happiness is - what it really means - until it‘s taken away from you. Then you realize the world will never be as bright as it was.” Page 98
Started this book, and just like her other books, I‘m enjoying it immensely!
5/5 stars!! I loved this book! I would recommend listening to the audio book, especially if you are fans of the podcast My Favorite Murder.
Can‘t wait to start this audiobook later today!!!
4/5 stars. Great representation of someone with autism. Great sequel to The Kiss Quotient. Absolutely loved this book, hope she writes another one with an autistic main character.
4/5 stars. Easy to read and get sucked into the friendship. The “plot twist” was easy to see, but i still enjoyed it. If you want a quick and easy romance this is a great book.
4/5 stars. Loved this story. Can‘t wait to read the next one!
More than half way done with this book, perfect way to spend my Sunday night. Jasmine Guillory is an amazing author and i can‘t wait to read her next book.
4/5 stars. I loved the back and forth between the characters points of view, and i loved how they were flawed but still fighting to be with each other. This is a great book!
I graduated this weekend!! The last two weeks has been crazy busy, and I‘ve had no time to read. But I‘m finally able to have time to read, hoping i can get at least four books read by the end of the month!
5/5 stars. Kasie West writes another home run for me. Loved this book. I definitely wish there was a more of a wrap up between some of the characters, but overall i really enjoyed the book.
I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway and i am so excited to start reading it! It has two of my favorite things: retelling of Pride and Prejudice and a book set in San Francisco!
3/5 stars. Some of the changes i found interesting, some of them i found completely against what the original characters would have done. Not my favorite, but not terrible.
Getting slightly more interesting. Still doing things that i was not expecting. That reveal in the second part totally threw me for a loop. Adds a new layer to the story, but I‘m not sure what‘s going to happen next. About 100 pages left in the book.
I feel like it‘s already half way through the book, and i still have 350 pages left... 🤦🏻♀️ that‘s the problem with retellings i guess, I‘m constantly comparing them to the original.
4/5 stars. I started This book years ago when it come out, and when it was applicable to my life. Now it‘s not as applicable, but it still has some good nuggets of knowledge, that everyone can learn from. If you get the option, listen to the Audiobook, the author reads it and it really adds to the authenticity of the book.
I bought this book years ago when it came out, read about 30% and then just stopped. (Not sure if it was just not the mood i was looking for at the time or something else). Yesterday i reopened my Hoopla account and low and behold they have it on audiobook, narrated by Carrie Hope Fletcher. It is so much more interesting listening to the stories, then just reading them. Excited to finally finish it!
5/5 stars. The line on the back of the book and the reason i picked up the book reads “Pride and Prejudice meets Friday Night Lights...” And is that the best description for this book. However, the friendship and sibling relationships that grow in this book really surprised me and made the book for me!
5/5 stars. Enjoyed the story, light-hearted and i basically read it one day. My only complaint: based on the title, you would think the entire story has to do with this boyfriend bracket, but it was kind of a subplot, that in my opinion, wasn‘t really necessary.
5/5 stars. This book was cute, light, funny, and i loved it. I loved the idea of having a friend that writes a list and you have to cross that stuff off the list. Can‘t wait to meet up with my friend to discuss the book!
Now that my paper is finished, and i baked 7 carrot cakes layers, i can start reading! I‘m only on chapter 4 but I‘m 131 pages in! I‘m not used to long chapters!
Doing my first Buddy Read with this book! Super excited!
Book mail FINALLY arrived!!!!! So excited for new books! I bought The Boyfriend Bracket by Kate Evangelista, The Last Best Story by Maggie Lehrman, The Beginning of Everything by Robyn Schneider, and Tell Me Three Things by Julie Buxbaum all for $25!! Bookoutlet for the win!
5/5 stars. Read this book in one day. It was charming, the love story between them is everything i could want. I loved how you got stories from side-line characters, and how they relate or affected by the main characters. I cried at three different points during this book. It was fantastic and is on my favorite list of books for the year.
3/5 stars. I keep reading these books because I‘m invested in the characters, and i like to see if i can figure out who the killer is before Hannah can, but this book just took forever! She didn‘t figure it out until the last chapter, and there was such a build up that i felt a little let down.
5/5 stars. Reese has a great writing style. It makes it feel like you are friends, and she‘s just telling you about her life. I loved the recipes, and the pictures were stunning.
Siege Etiquette by Katie Cutugno 3/5. Print Shop by Nina LaCour 4/5. Hourglass by Ibi Zoboi 3/5. Click by Katherine McGee 4/5. The Intern by Sara Shepard 3/5. Somewhere That‘s Green by Meredith Russo 4/5. The Way We Love Here by Dhonielle Clayton 2/5. Oomph by Emery Lord 3/5. The Dictionary Of You and Me by Jennifer L. Armentrout 4/5. The Unlikely Likelihood Of Falling in Love by Jocelyn Davies 5/5. (Continued in comments)
4/5 stars. Kasie West is one of my favorite authors, and she did a great job with this story. The main character seemed a little juvenile at times, and the “plot twist” (if you can even call it that) and everything connected to that, we‘re not handled well by the characters. But the love story was still fantastic, and i would recommend it to anyone who needs a quick romance book to read.
5/5 stars. Loved the concept of this story, and i loved the characters, but there was definitely somethings the characters did that i did not love. Perfect people don‘t exist, so perfect characters can‘t exist, but at the same time, I expected more from certain characters, and they took longer than i wanted to get there shit together.
5/5 stars. Just like hate-to-love romances, hate-to-love friendships are my favorite! Plus-size representation for the win! Millie is one of my favorite characters. She is down to earth, not ashamed of how she looks, and is a loving and caring person. If you liked Dumplin‘, then you‘ll love Puddin‘!
5/5 stars. Absolutely loved this booked! Set in France, cooking competition, and two young lovers experiencing and exploring Paris and first love! This was the perfect book to read before my summer vacation to Europe!
4/5 Stars. Leah is one of those characters that you start off not liking her, but along the way you see why she is the way she is, and you start to like her. Was not expecting the ending, but I was pleasantly surprised!
