This is an excellent started book to tarot. Melissa makes it easy and fun. I studied it most of the day Sunday & I‘ve started doing a single card draw each morning for practice and reflection.

Thanks again Katie for including this in my #BWS. It‘s awesome. 🖤

Chrissy, I hope you like this book as much as I do. I actually added it to my wishlist after seeing it on yours! 😉

KatieDid927 You‘re so welcome! Shoot, I may have to pick up a copy for myself! (Or maybe whoever is my match for the upcoming Yuletide swap?!) 3y
AmyG Ha…I just stacked it. I want to learn tarot. 3y

Thank you so much Katie! I love my #BWS. 😍🧡🖤🧡🖤🤩 I actually opened it this morning (it‘s 6pm in Japan) & have been reading the tagged + going through this gorgeous tarot card deck whilst eating these yummy TJ‘s pumpkin spice pretzels. OMG they are the best things ever! 😋 This is just a phenomenal package. So much awesomeness. Many, many, many thanks! 😘❤️🧙🏻

And thanks to Jenni & Katie for hosting! This is one of my favorite swaps! 🖤

Really enjoyed her clear & down to earth interpretation of the cards. Made some that have always seemed vague to me much clearer (like Temperance & the Star). Will be looking for a copy of my own.

A really great, passionately humorous, insightful new walkthrough of the traditional (renaissance style) tarot decks. I always find more to pick up on with another guidebook, and fully enjoyed this one! So good as an #LGBTQ #QueerBooks diverse speaker, with deck recommendations to check out. 🌈

My sister is already asking to borrow this Tarot book. 😋 I'll focus on having it reviewed by the New Year. 🔮 A really cool new stocking stuffer for me; Harry Potter playing cards! The images are somewhat randomly placed, but can relate to the number and court cards. Adding one Joker, seems like a great mystery of The Fool / The Moon / The World combined!

Thank you @hermyknee for this wonderful #basicwitchswap package! 😍 This art print is full on Sabrina the Teenage Witch with perfect 90‘s references when you look close. I 🖤 it so much! And a basic witch koozie, socks, bookmarks, stickers, gorgeous tarot deck + the Kitchen Table Tarot Book (which distracted me immediately and I already read the first 50 pages 😆). Serpent & Dove, plus I‘ve been wanting Red Sister for so long! I love everything ✨

Today on the Eve, of All Hallows' Eve 😸 My book order arrived at the local Tarot shop. Here's a #BlameItOnLitsy buy, for getting me interested in this one. Another of many guide books; my Tarot studies are eager for more to ponder on, comparing notes with various decks. 🖤 Also at the shop; a candle wax-sealed bottle of Black Salt, used as an ash-like banishing spell vs negative energies.

MsRadioSilence Omg where is this shop?? It sounds amazing 5y
Chrissyreadit Awesome! This book is on my wishlist too! I love tarot. 5y
Dan_SpiderCrafts @i-am-papercrane Solace Serenity Healing, in Sutton, Ontario 🍁 They have great Tarot selections, while I also enjoy checking out their Llwellyn catalogue; ordering in what catches my witch's wish list. 5y
MsRadioSilence Welp, I guess I‘m taking a trip to Canada 😂 5y
Dan_SpiderCrafts @i-am-papercrane I'm really luck to have several Tarot shops around; The Hedge Witch, and the shop Bell, Book & Candle 😸 Goggle searches on Tarot / Crystal shops are a cool way to see what shows nearby. 5y

On a day that I need to be brave, this is the card I pull. It‘s amazing that ALL my daily cards are pertinent and provide insight. I read the text portion of this book, and am learning the meanings of the cards as I go. The author‘s style is very down-to-Earth and relatable. She really examines all elements of the artwork on the cards. A good first Tarot book! 4/5🖤s

Bowietrek I just ordered this from Amazon Kindle. Looks interesting and helpful. Thanks for posting about it. 5y

I'm starting to learn tarot, which I've sort of always been curious about about. Got this from the library and read it cover to cover in less than 16 hours (which includes sleeping). My first deck is on it's way and should be arriving tomorrow, along with my own copy of this book. I can't wait to get started!

Ive been teaching myself tarot for a while now and it‘s part of my self care routine.
This is a really good beginners guide to the tarot and I loved the authors voice. The personal style always helps me rather than just a dry here is what the meaning are.
If you want an accessible guide that won‘t make you feel like you are doing it wrong or taking it seriously enough but that still has morals this isn‘t a bad place to start at all.

ephemeralwaltz It's been a while since you've posted! Hope all is well ❤️ hugs 5y

This book reignited my love for tarot. Cynova has a wonderfully down-to-earth and accessible attitude that immediately drew me in, and her every thought on tarot and reading (or card slinging) is approachable, welcoming, and realistic. She grounds her thoughts in the card's traditional design, symbols, and elements, but uses her own considerable experience to expand or illuminate an aspect. Highly recommended!

I've picked up a new hobby and found this on scribd. Hopefully this will help me learn. When I'm a bit more confident if any littens would like a reading from somebody very new and practising then let me know 😀

Sophoclessweetheart Good luck on your learning. I also read the cards - both tarot and oracle. I started last year, it takes a while to trust your intuition but once you‘ve got it, it comes like breathing. X 7y
Weaponxgirl @Wanderingwithwords thank you, I've been at it a few months and just trying to figure out my reading style and slowly learn the cards. Dyo have any favourite resources? I love little red tarot blog atm , and what are your favourite decks? 7y
