Excellent book. Fascinating subject. Not too academic to be readable and interesting.i never got to see all the series, so this is a good time to both read and watch. I am happy to read this and know more about the series.

number 15 in the Ali Reynolds series, and best in the series. Concerns a murder of a priest involved with child sexual abuse in Ali ‘s diocese. Deftly plotted. Jance makes makes adroit, ingenius use of her latest character, the AI Frigg, leading me to hope to see even more Frigg to come in the future. 0ne of Jance‘s best in her extensive career.

A modern historical novel. I was 12 years old in 1960 when I first became aware of Jacqueline KennedyI and promptly fell in love with herand with soon to be president, JFK. Jackie became my hero.wonderful, memorable book. I loved it.

12th in the Hunt for Jack Reacher series. I‘ve just started the book so can‘t say much about it yet, except that I love the series. Each book is based on a book in the Reacher series and the books are authorized by Lee Child. They never show Reacher as a character, just show him as an off the stage character. The stories are very creative and intriguing and I like them almost as much as I like the real Reacher books.

Excellent. This title and the whole trilogy. The historical details about life in Tudor Britain are many and fascinating. Everything from clothing and cooking to child care and house cleaning. The characters are well written and outstanding, particularly King Henry, Thomas Cromwell, Thomas Cranmer, Charles Brandon, and Princess Mary.

I am only 5 Per cent into the book and I am amazed at how good it is. Thomas Cromwell and Charles Brandon are beautifully drawn characters. I don‘t want to do anything but read. I want to go back and read Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies again as soon as I finish this one

Getting close to the end of the series. This one is convoluted and complicated, dealing strongly with elder abuse and health care crimes. An outstanding plot and some fascinating characters and crimes. Kinsey‘s neighbors and neighborhood are featured, with some outstanding personalities.

I love this new Nick Heller book. The writing is first rate, the characters are fascinating, the story and plot are compelling and based on incidents in current news. the opioid crisis is presented and explained in detail. Highly recommended.

I loved this title in the series. This is one of my two favorites in the series. The story is intricate and fascinating. It goes into detail about life in a women‘s prison and then into a major mall/office complex of an unusual architectural design.

Fascinating and helpful information if you have determined you spend entirely too much time online, as I recently have. Much practical information about how we get to this point in our lives and how we can change and correct the problem.

I found another title in the series I haven‘t read. I feel like I just won a lottery. Not only have I not read it before, but it is the best I have read of the series. The book is about Kinsey‘s first marriage and husband. I love it so far. What a wonderful surprise for my birthday. I thought I had read them all years ago.

Haven‘t read a self help book in a long while. This seems like it may be a good choice. I like the writing style and the practical, funny and helpful advice. Haven‘t read much of it yet but I like the author‘s attitude and her approach to organizing and research.

Excellent book about Little Women. The four writers each picked one of the Little Women, Meg, Jo, Beth, or Amy and wrote about her own life, and how it coincided with the life of the sister she chose. The life of each sister was analyzed in comparison to the lives of contemporary women. Fascinating to see how their lives and times compared to ours and how much women‘s lives have changed in the last hundred years. Highly recommended.

Guess I am reading the whole series again, but slowly, since I am borrowing them from the library. This is a particularly good one,with an intriguing, intricate plot and some interesting, entertaining characters. Love each book in the series, and I am alternating them and inserting them into my reading list among my newest interest, EMP survival books.

I‘ve actually never read this one. What a great surprise. Wonder if there are any more I somehow failed to read. I feel like I have been given the most wonderful gift. it is a good one. The plot is very intricate and detailed. The characters are well written and fascinating. This is the best of the series I think.

Well written thriller by one of my favorites, Rick Mofina. Well drawn characters, kids actually seem like real kids. Plausible situation and plot. I liked it, but then, I usually like any of his books.

Jack Reacher, my favorite character. Dealing with two mobs in an unnamed city. This story puts Reacher in a more humorous situation than usual, when he attempts to help an elderly couple solve a mob problem. I enjoyed reading about the ethnic problems of the mobs and their technological exploits and European/Russian culture. This is one of the best Reacher books.

The new Harry Bosch/Renee Ballard book. Bosch and Ballard investigate a cold case originally worked by Harry‘s mentor. Many complications and new information about Harry‘s past plus Ballard, too.love Harry and like Ballard more and more. Los Angeles becomes a character in these books, too. A fascinating character. I liked it a lot.

The Lady Astronaut series, book 2. Preparations for a trip to Mars. Well written, fascinating alternate history of a group of astronauts and their trip to Mars. Warning, detailed description of being ill in zero gravity. Be prepared. Great series so far. Looking forward to the next one.

From 1987, when I didn‘t read it. A book of essays on food and cooking. Some recipes, but mostly essays on her life involving food, entertaining and friends. I like her writing style and sense of humor. Wish I hadn‘t waited so long to read it.

This book features J P Beaumont, Seattle detective. It is an interesting and engaging read, comfortable like being with an old friend. I like Beaumont, his sense of humor and his intelligence at detecting. He has grown as a character over the years and it is always interesting to see how Jance ages him and keeps him fresh and sharp in each succeeding book.

I can‘t really say much yet, since I have only read a little bit of it so far, but I love Barclay‘s work and this looks like a particularly good one. More later....,........finished reading the book. I liked it, as I do all of Barclays books. Liked the feeling for life in New York and the characters. Captured my feelings about skyscrapers, and about heights in general. I have visited most of the skyscrapers during my 18 years of living in New York

Borderline science fiction by Patricia Cornwall, includes rather a large part of medical examiner activity in the story, not much science fiction yet. I have read about half the book so far. Interesting story, some fascinating characters and technology but where is she going with it? Only one mention of any idea which could develop into science fiction so far.

The best I have read in the series. Gives details about Kinsey‘s past and introduces her to some family members. Excellent story and very well written.

Fascinating. The daily life of the author and his family is shown to the reader in intricate detail, from cooking and eating to clothing and sewing, to sleeping arrangements and cleaning. I was most intrigued by seeing how the author learned, what he read, and what and how he was taught.

Fascinating reading about Jewish life in the boroughs of New York City. I learned a little first hand when I lived in New York for 15 years in the nineties and early in the new century, until 2003. This is answering many of my questions and I am enjoying it.

I was not disappointed. Excellent book. The alternate history timeline was well done and and the characters outstanding, especially the lead character. It deserved the best novel Hugo award it received. Looking forward to the next book.

Thoroughly enjoying this book. His writing is relaxed, funny, and fascinating. His life was difficult, sad, and disturbing. He writes with humor, honesty, and joy despite the the meanness and callousness of his family. Much about his life found its way into Babylon enriching the characters and plot enormously.

Book number 8 in her Jack Reacher series. Best in the series. Reacher‘s nephew Jake was introduced. Gaspar has retired and Otto has not been assigned a new partner. Jake is an interesting character. Hope he will be used in future books. Interesting and well written series. Lee Child approves of the stories and they do not infringe on his copyright.great series.

Liking this book a lot. Anna is my favorite of the six.

Reading this title and whole series again. Love this series and enjoying my rereading.
