Crazy time packing, but a quick post: We took several boxes of books to the only used book store in the area that offered to pay cash. They gave us a decent price, but I really appreciated what she said when the transaction was over. She compliments our collection, then said that she'd make sure to get them into the hands of people who'd appreciate them. As someone who has a hard time getting rid of... anything, I thought that was a nice sentiment

This past weekend I went to a close small town and found a library book sale! 25 cents a book! I only got three but it‘s always fun to browse.

Forgot to share my #bookhaul from the SSO #usedbooksale last weekend! I‘ve been avoiding book sales & stores all year because I‘ve been avoiding shopping of any kind due to COVID-19, anxiety & other health issues & also because I have 50+ books that won‘t fit on my shelves! But I missed book hunting so much I broke my self-imposed book buying ban when a friend invited me to go to the sale. I bought only 7 books - all from my buy list or tbr list!

#bookhaul!!!! 22 books (plus two for my kiddos, not pictured)... for $6!! And I am super pleased with the quality of my finds! I just love library book sales. Filled in quite a few books for my challenges. Only ones that I‘ve already read are Eleanor Oliphant and Britt-Marie.. but I felt they are worth owning (would like a complete Backman collection).
I wanted to get some swap stuff but alas, I only found things for myself.

My town's library is having a book sale. The Friends of the Library got to come in early this afternoon. I'm a Friend. I went early. Big things happened 😳
My book haul from the sale at a local library. $5 a bag! Bag 1 had 35 books. Bag 2 had 38 books. Bag 3 had 34 books. And bag 4 had 23 books (a lot were large, coffee-table-sizes books). Not all of these are mine, though. A little more than half are for my mom. 😃📚❤️📚

Just came back from my favorite annual used book sale! I got these nine for $15. Who of you has read any of these? Which should I read first? (not that I don‘t already have a TBR stack 100+ books high!)
The library the next town over was having a book sale.. I didn‘t make it til day 3, so the pickings were rather slim.. But I got these for $1.75.. I said I want to read a Stephen King this month, so here‘s my chance.

Yesterday's #library #booksale haul before I had to drive down to PA for a wedding. Some of it is for me, but a majority of it is for gifts and swaps. I love getting these so cheaply so I can give even more in swaps. All rhis for $11.25; and that's only because the movies were $1/each.
