4✨It wasn‘t as good as the first one. I‘m not a fan of how it ended so I‘m glad there is more books in the series. There was a lot of adventure and magic. It was a fun read that I didn‘t want to put down.

I have a busy weekend, but I‘m going to try to finish my audiobook that‘s tagged. My audio follow along with the book, and get my two physical reads closer to finished. @Andrew65
4.6 🌟 I wish I had this series when I was a little girl. Not really your typical fairytale story yet at the same time still carry the same values for love and compassion.
Alex and Conner are bound for new adventure when their mother was kidnapped by The Enchantress. The Enchantress is alive and getting stronger even The Happily Ever After Council is useless against her. Now it's up to them to pick up a fight.

This is a great book so far. Like this post if you like the Land Of Stories series!
Wow!This book was amazingly great!Best Lomé is when they are running from the Giants cat and Conner yells “GOD I HATE THIS FLIPPEN CAT!!!!”???????
It‘s been too long since I‘ve been on Litsy. I had one of those weeks where it felt like everything piled up on me. Trying to relax the weekend away. I just watched a weird adventure movie (in a good way) and now I want to finish this book.
It‘s good but some chapters are too long and I don‘t like Colfer‘s “see what I did there” writing style. I know it‘s for a younger audience but I think it‘s too much. Still enjoying overall
I haven‘t gotten a chance to watch the Mandalorian yet but GUYS this is basically me upon finishing this book 😍GREAT sequel. 5 🌟The majority was read through Audiobook on Libby, but the last 5 chapters I finished in the Libby ebook. First time in a while I haven‘t tracked a book through Bookly 😭
I reached my goal of 5-10 hours and say that's quite allright for the first time. The best part is: It got me out of my reading slump! Yay!!!

I found myself another #audiobook for #24b4monday #readathon
Just hitting the ninth hour. I'm quite pleased with myself. And it helped me out of my reading slump! YAY

Despite reading for almost 11 hours, I have been awful and not finished a book. I did however find a couple DNF options and finally start and make it half through the next Land of Stories. Anxiety kept me out of work today so I'll read a bit more

The book was well writing and very imagenatory. This book is very good book to expand your mind to and believe and things that you have never believed in; like frogs that talk and pigs that fly. I will not spoil the book for you , but if you love fantasy and want to live it through a book just like those fairy tales that your mom read to you? Then this is your book .
Listened to it at work. Entertaining.
this book is a fantasy book about all the fairytale stories that we heard as a child becomes a reality. two kids enter the fairy tale land where everything is perfect or is it?
Genre: Fantasy
Book started: Sep 17
Book finished: Oct 2
Why did i choose this book: because i read the first one in the summer and i really liked that fantasy and how it ended with suspense. Fairy tales were a big thing for me in my childhood
3⭐️—— this book was good there were points where i was frustrated with the characters but it wasn‘t drastic and didn‘t ruin the story. It was a pretty simple storyline but it is for young readers and i liked that the second books stakes got higher than the firsts
Chris Colfer still suffers from a case of telling instead of showing, but I could see his growth as a writer in this book. It was an enjoyable read; I liked it more than the first one, and it ended on an interesting note that left me excited for the next book in the series! Mother Goose is such a fun character, And it sounds like we will see more of her in the next one!

Maya is at Y camp this week. I should be getting some work done, but decided to take a mental health day. I love my family, but I desperately needed alone time!
Lots of reading, another awesome 🚲 ride with another personal record (ended up 20 output points over my PR from a few days ago!), & a protein/greens recovery drink to keep my healthy eating on track - I almost reached for 🍨. 😂
And maybe I‘ll finish a book today! #bfcr3 #teamfitlit
Looking forward to see the next part of the adventure!
Another commute book done. When I heard Colfer was the voice on the audio version I had to listen. He is one of my favorites. I enjoyed the story as well lol. 4🌟
I finished this one last week and forgot to review it. It is the second in the series and it was a fun one. There are some great new characters introduced-Mother Goose is awesome! I will say it took Alex and Connor a little longer than I would have liked to get to the Land of Stories but their quest once there was a great adventure. Again I highly recommend the audiobook-Colfer does a fantastic job narrating.
My fifth grade reading buddy brought the second book in the series for me to read. This book has clearly been loved 💜
Very good! I'm excited to read book 3 😊 So far the series kinda reminds me of Fablehaven.
Up next, book 2 😊
Friday night reading with sweet Emma! She loves this book! 😄💜
I am back in Alabama y‘all! Today when I picked Emma up from school, she had started on the second book in the Land of Stories series. She wanted me to let my “online book club people” know how much she loves it! 👏🏻
I‘m thoroughly enjoying this series! The stories are imaginative and fun. There‘s lots of humor to balance out the serious parts. I‘m happy that I took a chance and bought them all! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Listening to this audiobook (such a cute series!) while I enjoy a piece of pumpkin pie. I‘m still eating soft-ish food since having my wisdom teeth out a few days ago, so pie is a good choice. Not that anyone needs an excuse to enjoy some pie. 😉
I highly recommend this series for 9-12 year olds. My eleven year old son can't get enough of it. 📚👩👦 #raisingreaders
"I feel like reading something light and happy to take my mind off everything going on in the world. Oooh, an epigraph! I love epigraphs! What's this one say?"
Nice try, me.
I'm the mood for something light and really feel like returning to this fairytale world for the day.
Ignore the cat toy on the ground. This is their house. We just live here to feed them.
I love this world so much!!!!!!
I'm not leaving this world until I finish the whole series.
Pride should never be limited to one month. You should have pride in who you are celebrate where you come from all twelve months. Own who you are.
In honor of his new book (Stranger Than Fanfiction) I'm sharing photos from the time I slept on a NYC sidewalk for 24 hours just to give Chris Colfer a bear I'd made as a thank you for helping me through some bad times. This also happens to be my favorite book in this series, which you should read if you haven't! They are very Narnia-esq in terms of magic and adventure (without the religious overtones). 💜 Cannot wait to read his new YA book!
Second one and my daughter and I were still enjoying the series. On to book 3 we went...
Well, the first one wasn't so bad so we'll give this one a go.
Colfer hit it out of the park with this second installment! It was fast paced, inventive, and witty. The ending gave me the chills for God's sake!
