Hanging in the cell phone lot at the airport waiting for my college girl to land. Can‘t wait to see her!! This book is easing the anticipation 😁

This is a fun one to start. Working on finances so it‘s a good distraction 🙃
This is one looooong drive. Flagstafff—>San Diego today and stretching my legs for a few minutes. This mystery is keeping me entertained in the car.
There‘s a rare rain storm at home but I‘m 500 miles away waiting on a snowstorm this afternoon. I‘m taking advantage of a few quiet minutes to start on this library grab.
Road trip today to Flagstaff- LOTS of quiet time on the road to wrap up this audiobook.
Battling a sinus infection so I‘m up early, have taken my medicine, and I‘m trying to relax long enough to get through a portion of this book, and a bigger portion of the Girl Scout cookies 😲
1. California !
2. It has always been historical fiction but I‘m branching out thanks to all of you.
3. The Golden Son
4. Mashed potatoes
5. We lost our Great Dane this summer but we‘ll find another one when the time is right.
Loved the elephant facts peppered throughout but boy, I never saw that twist coming! I thought I had it all figured out until the last few chapters. Thumbs up for this one. 👍🏻
Hump day = hard time getting started this morning. Maybe a few chapters will give me the energy to get dressed and get to work. ☕️📖
I'm taking some time for myself this morning before the crazy begins. Tea, handmade blanket, book: what really could be better than this??
We've traveled over 2,400 miles in the last few days. On the home stretch now back to warmer temps and ocean views. Having someone to share the driving responsibility has allowed me the chance to dive into my first book of 2018. I can't wait to get home and get some laundry started!
My reading is slow going this month. We're still unpacking the new house and that work seems to be never ending. Wouldn't trade it for anything though!
The move is over, the boxes are far from done being unpacked, but it's time to get back to my TBR stack.
Wow 😳 What a beginning. I'm looking forward to another day of air travel to get through this psycho story.
Listening to the rain on the roof and beginning this disturbing story. I only wish I didn't have to go to work!
Yesterday's view. This book is about an epic storm and it got under my skin. It didn't help that I'm staying in the middle of a walnut orchard and it was raining cats and dogs last night. I needed a good freak out last night 😬⛈☔️
I'm so excited to dive into this brick of a book! I'm 200 pages in and loving it.
It's a migraine but try to read anyway kind of day.
I'm trying to stay up late tonight to catch up on some reading. I picked up two more books at the library today so I have to keep moving.
This is what I have queued up for the drive south tonight.
I have a very long drive this afternoon and tonight. I'm hoping to finish this on audio on the way north.
Slowly working my way through Jean Plaidy's The Tudor Saga works.
Not able to read right this second but found the cutest bookish park here. After meetings end, this is where you'll find me.
I'm supposed to be working with this book was too good to put down. 👍🏻
Up next! Hope to get started on this later this afternoon.
It's a holiday and I hope I can find a few hours to dive into this long one!
Stealing a few minutes for myself before I have to hit the freeways. Hooray for three day weekends, though!
Lunch and a book - this is s good day!
I have 70 pages left in this book and I'm trying to finish it before I have to go to work. Who thinks I will be successful?
It's stupid muggy and hot in San Diego this week. Without air conditioning, most of us don't know how to deal with "real" summer weather. My goal today is not to sweat my ankles off, and hopefully find a cool place to read after work and other errands.
This has been on my shelf for more years than I care to admit. An impending move is making me take up all the heavy books and get them read and donated quickly so I don't have to pack or move then 😆
I don't want to go to the gym, or work, or do any kind of adulting today so I'm procrastinating with this hefty library find and a cup of tea ☕️ Anyone else just wishing to enjoy the summer without the responsibilities???
Another impulse snag from the new books section at the library. No idea what I'm about to read but one of my kids thought I'd like it so here it is!
I took my 14 year old to the library this morning and came home with a YA selection for myself! 📚
Home again after a weekend-long conference in Phoenix. This book is not even close to what I expected but in all the right ways. With all the end of school year activities going on, this is a nice, easy escape.
I can't give this book enough stars. Magical. Tragic. Heart-warming. Touching. Moving. Uplifting. All the feels. I got through most of it on my flight yesterday but I finished it up early this morning. Love! ❤️
This finally came in from my hold list at the library. I can't wait to get started tonight!!
Waiting room reading while my airbag is replaced. I'm loving this uninterrupted time to get through some chapters!
Such fun at the book launch last night for The Unbreakable Code. The kids had some pretty awesome questions (what's your most favorite book that you wrote, anyone?) and Jenn shared some stories about her writing process. Love her!
Whoa. 😲 I knew the ending had a surprise but I never saw that coming.
My reading book this morning. About to add my slurpee and then hit the road. Happy Tuesday!!
So I know the ending will be shocking from seeing all of your reviews. BUT! Was anyone else as aggravated as I am early on in the book about the choices these characters are making?!? Every character knows it's a train wreck but they keep on. Grrr
