My reading is moving a bit more slowly than I was hoping this month but another book knocked off the nightstand! Book 3 in this cute cozy series set in a bakery in the city of Savannah with witches and druids.

This was the third book in the Magical Bakery Series. I enjoyed this one more for the characters than the mystery. The mystery was kinda blah, but the development of the characters, especially Katie was wonderful. I look forward to continuing this series.
The prompt for today immediately made me think of the #cozymystery genre! Cozy mystery novels do a great job of world building in small towns with engaging sets of characters. My current favorite cozy mystery series is The Magical Bakery. #tropesinaugust

My list is basically made up of TBR books, which is helpful. If you like a little magic with your cozy mysteries, than I definitely recommend these books- plus they're set in Savannah! This time Katie is trying to solve the murder of her boss at the conservation she volunteers at.

I‘m never sure why I enjoy this series so much, but I definitely do. Nice and cozy listen for a blustery day like today.
pickI have lots to update haha. I've also started this cozy mystery series. I've never read cozy mystery and this is a delightful introduction (I think anyway.) It's set in Savannah, GA which is one of my favorite cities in the world. And who doesn't love a little witchery, baking, and murder?! 😂 I've ordered the next 3 from the library. Can't wait!
