Made Sabih tonight and it was amazing. If you are a reader or collector of cookbooks I recommend this one. It‘s beautiful.

These are Molly Yeh‘s 12 must have cookbooks - drawn by the wonderful Jane Mount. Might pull my books out this weekend to pile up my favourite 12!

So.... #letterJ was an odd one... just one kids classic, an awesome Ottolenghi cookbook and 18 Jamie Olivers! (And BTW my #LetterK stack is a big fat zero!)
I've made four recipes out of this book over the last two days and they all came out great. Some ingredients are listed by lb/oz, which can be annoying, but overall a great #cookbookclub read.
#audiocooking Listening to The B&N podcast interview with Meg Wolitzer in preparation for tomorrow night‘s Book club in the store.... and preparing a couple of Yotam Ottolenghi‘s recipes for dinner tonight.... Yum!
My husband got me this book for Christmas and the recipes I've cooked so far are 🔥🔥🔥. Plus we've gone meatless for Lent and the vegetable dishes in here are amazing - particularly 1) the eggplant with fried onions and 2) butternut squash and red onion with tahini. I want to throw a party with nothing but room-temperature veggie dishes on the menu - sooo easy.
Day 23 #AugustGrrrl Next week at this time I'll be back under the Mediterranean sky, sipping Turkish coffee and enjoying the amazing cuisine #BonAppetit or better yet.... be'te-avon (see, I do know some Hebrew😂) Yotam Ottolenghi is a local chef and has really put Israel on the culinary map as a foodie destination 🙌🏻
#OnTheNightstand I'm pretty picky about keeping only what I'm currently reading (and a cookbook to browse through) on my nightstand. #AprilBookShowers
Excellent for vegetarians and meat lovers alike! Please any diet-eclectic household with this fantastic cookbook. The pictures are lush, the cultural tid-bits add warmth, and the recipes are impeccable.
#photoadaynov16 #cookbooklove I'm excited for this challenge because nothing thrills me more than drooling over gorgeous cookbooks and discovering new recipes. Unfortunately, when I moved overseas, my amazing cookbook collection did not make the journey with me 😩Hubby convinced me, every recipe I could ever want is available on the internet...kinda true. Anyway, here are 2 favorites that will hopefully rejoin me one day.
#Day13 #AugustPhotoChallenge #bookstacks So many stacks to choose from... 😬 I decided to show you the shelf in my living/dining room--comprised of PART of my cookbooks & my bookmail/review/current TBR stack. I'm in the slow process of pruning it down, so you can actually see the artwork behind. And, because EVERYONE who see it asks-Yes, the bench bows in the center like that naturally, not because of. the books! 📚📚📚 #cookbooks #AugustofPages
My #recommendsday pick is a cookbook. Pick it up for magnificent recipes. Read it for the charming and illuminating stories and background blurbs with each recipe. Oh, the pictures are stunning, too.
