April was a good month. Read 14 books, mostly shorter. I am still reading my two longer books, The Autobiography of Malcolm X and The Daily Show.
My favorites were the Witcher series and the March graphic novels. I also unexpectedly fell in love with Silas Marner.

ErickaS_Flyleafunfurled I thought Silas Marner was a surprise like too! I didn't expect to get into it, but I really enjoyed it. 8y
Gezemice @ErickaS_Flyleafunfurled Yes! So human and enjoyable. 8y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa Awesome month!! I loved March too this year! 8y

April was an absolutely crazy month for me at work, so I only finished two books. And I only liked one of them. I feel like a total slacker. Haha. #aprilbookshowers #bestofapril

Kimberlone I feel the same way! April was a crazy month. I also listened to Big Little Lies this month, which was one of one of the few I finished. 8y
BeckyWithTheGoodBooks @Kimberlone Glad it's not just me! Hopefully, May will be more bookish for us! PS. My SIL is also named Kimberly Hewitt. Crazy! 8y

Very much my #bestofapril. I'll give you the sun broke my heart, Killers damaged my soul, and American gods wrecked me. All in good ways 😁. GREAT reading month.

I was busy with #CampNanowrimo during April, so I didn't get much time to read, but I did get a good chunk of my novel revision done! #BestOfApril #AprilBookShowers

#aprilbookshowers day 30 - #bestofapril

Another relatively weak month, reading wise. Loved everything I finished, and am still working my way through plenty that I hope to finish soon.

Not a great month challenge-wise either. A lot of catch-up days (today included), to say nothing of days like the 29th that I just skipped outright for lack of material. May looks like it will be challenging too, but I'll give it my best.

Here is what I finished in April. The Outsiders was a first read for me. I read it in one day while participating in the #readathon It is my favorite out of my April reads. I see why it has stood the test of time. #aprilbookshowers #bestofapril

April was a bit of a slower month for reading, and I'm not sure why, but I'm still happy with 6 books completed.

Hunted was the #bestofapril, with The Dry close behind.

Too Pretty to Live was a great true crime audio, and The Rules Do Not Apply was a decent memoir made better by audio. I enjoy watching the amount of audio books I complete increase as I increase my #audiowalks.

#aprilbookshowers

Reviewsbylola I am looking forward to The Dry! 8y
Mdargusch I will check out your audio book selection. I've been listening to them as I drive. 8y
Suet624 Decent memoir. Yup. That's how I would describe it too. 8y

My #bestofapril were Vixen and Born a Crime - very different but both awesome. Very close behind : Jeffery Deaver - I'll definitely be reading more of Lincoln and Amelia - and Gillian Clarke's poems. #ro17 #aprilbookshowers
