So fun!
Finished this one last night. First in a new to me series. Total for #20in4 was close to 18 hours which is closer than I have gotten in a while. #ScaryFebruary #Bite

Thank you @kspenmoll for the generous #LLWBS package. I love the stickers and extra you sent. I actually found and started the tagged book so I can start Body on Baker Street when I am done. Thanks for hosting @Deblovestoread and @Bookgoil

Opened up my Jolabokaflod packages today and couldn't be more excited! Thank you so much, Patricia! I have been wanting to read this for so long! Can't wait to dig in! Thank you thank you thank you! 😃💕📚
This was a fun mystery and I liked Gemma as a main character, but I wish the author had done more with the Cape Cod setting.
Did you know that Vicki Delaney is also Eva Gates?

Finished one book since last Saturday, Death on Tap. All the others are in various stages of reading/listening.

1. The tagged really made me want to visit Cape Cod!
2. The dark. It can still make me uncomfortable but I‘m no longer truly frightened by it.
3. I love cross stitch! LEGOs with my kiddo is also always a good time.
4. I‘m actually listening to The Last of Us menu music right now as I was browsing Litsy waiting for the game to load 😂

Thanks for the tag @BiblioLitten 🥰
1. Tagged!
2. The Last Days of Night
3. The Adventures of Maud West
4. I want to read at least 65 books and I‘ve read 53. I‘m also doing a reading challenge my aunt‘s library sets every year and I think I have 8 prompts left?
5. Anybody who wants to play!
A fun bookshop cozy! I enjoyed the mystery a lot and didn‘t see the end coming at all! I do enjoy the main character, Gemma Doyle, I did find her annoying a handful of times but not enough to make me dislike her. I left the story with some unanswered questions, like why Estrada hates Gemma but I‘m hoping those will be answered later in the series!
Gemma Doyle has returned to the quaint town of West London on Cape Cod to manage her Great Uncle Arthur's Sherlock Holmes Bookshop, located at 222 Baker Street, home of Moriarty the cat. When Gemma finds a rare and potentially valuable magazine containing the first Sherlock Homes story hidden in the bookshop, she and her friend Jayne set off to find the owner, only to stumble upon a dead body. Day 1 #blackcatchallenge @Clwojick
Look what I got today! My friends Gma made this for me (even the bear). Her name is Marion the Librarian.
I‘m also really enjoying this audio book. 😁
Gemma Doyle is a British transplant to Cape Cod, co-owning a Sherlock themed bookshop. She is a modern, female reincarnation of Holmes, being hyper-observant and making deductions based on her observations. I could do without the commmon plot feature - a detective who irrationally suspects MC and/or has a chip on her shoulder, but it's a pretty good mystery, and I would listen to the next in the series.

Happy #caturday my bibliophile friends! Today I'm working with my bookish friend @pri_bibliophile on our OCT photo challenge! ♥️???
Today is also a photo taking day for me...wish me creativity & a steady hand to get some good shots!

Do you like photo challenges or do you prefer to post & read what you want?
In my #wildestdreams, I'll stick to this list, other than the tagged book, which is for an IRL book club. I just can't stick to a TBR list. 😏

And bought two new first in series cozies at the thrift store today ✨ #ilovecozies
Snuggling up with this one tonight as I try to catch up on some of my ARCs that have been published now. I'm hoping I'll read the old ones faster if I grab print copies from the library.
This wasn't actually all that bad, but I just couldn't get past the blatant chic-lit tropes. It's a tribute to the quality of the writing that I stuck with it as long as I did.
After 100 pages I'm going to bail. The main character is annoying and doesn't have much of a personality.
Maybe cozy mysteries are the right medicine for a sick day.
I read three books in April and am about 100 pages from finishing another. But I have to go to work, so I don't know if I'll be able to finish it before April ends or not. This is my favorite book this month. It was a fun mystery with a wonderful friendship and some romantic tension thrown in for good measure. Quick read too. #bestofapril #aprilbookshowers
I went to get this book to start reading it and found Pepsi barely keeping it from falling off the arm of the couch. He's ridiculously cute.
I've got four books I'm simultaneously reading...How do you all juggle reading multiple books at one time? Asking for a friend.... 🙈🙈

If you love Sherlock Holmes, this is the cozy mystery for you! Gemma Doyle is the part owner of the Sherlock Holmes Bookshop and Emporium in New London, Massachusetts.
This is the first book in the new Sherlock Holmes Bookshop Mystery series. If this book is any indication, I think this series is going to be a great success!
I received a free ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Not really loving my current read, so starting this new ARC from NetGalley 😄
Gemma runs a store devoted to Sherlock. She has acute powers of observation and often demonstrates this by pointing out things others don't notice. She comes off as a bit lofty and irritating. Maybe if her friend Jayne was the first person narrator instead of Gemma...I just didn't find her to be a very sympathetic character and had trouble liking her. But the mystery kept me in the dark and the end was a complete surprise.
The rain is pouring, the tea is hot, and the book is entertaining. #perfectday
I am silly excited about these! They are my first approvals on #netgalley 😆
Are there really any adults in the US, even ones who come from London, who don't know Superman's real name?
