I think Darth Vader is a classics example of mistaking temptation as a opportunity.

Here's our pair of tigers. Our orange guy is Han Solo. He was named by a rescue organization and being Star Wars fans, we kept the moniker. When we adopted our gray tiger this year, a friend suggested "Chewbacca" for the name. We call him Chewy. They both make great reading partners, curled up on a lap and purring. #CatsofLitsy #LittenKittens

"Read all the Harry Potter books?"

My all time favorite ?

#FavoriteBookMemes

Trashcanman Lmao Wow! I wonder how many have been written. To funny! 🙂 Thanks for playing. 6y
LibrarianRyan Love it! 6y
LibrarianRyan @Trashcanman a lot. I had over 30 until I pit them on my public libraries shelves. And that doesn't include the kids books. 6y

TheBookgeekFrau @LibrarianRyan 😁 @Trashcanman LibrarianRyan is right--a LOT! I've read 79 and I'm just past (edited) 6y
LibrarianRyan @C.Perone you are way a head of me. I haven't read any since I donated mine. I keep buying them but I currently only have 4 6y
Trashcanman @C.Perone WOW! Damn thats a lot! 6y
TheBookgeekFrau @LibrarianRyan @Trashcanman lol I've been reading them since 2013, I love them because they are varied reads and go so far beyond the beloved movie characters. I've also read some great authors I might not have other wise 6y
LibrarianRyan @C.Perone I compleatly agree. I started reading them when they were donated to my Denver library book sale. At the end of the book sale I took them all and was putting them my boxes to soldiers. Then I moved. And I started reading them. So much fun. When I started at my last library they had about 15 Sci fi books. I put my collection on the shelves and built from there. I'm no longer there and they deleted them all. 😢 6y
TheBookgeekFrau @LibrarianRyan Oh no, that's so sad😟 But at least you yourself shared the love😊 6y

I‘m almost out of Forest Moon of Endor and it smells SO GOOD! It was custom made by @bookandnookshop and I have savoured it, but it‘s not going to last much longer. How unfortunate... Do I request another one I wonder? 🤔

QOTD: Do you have a favourite candle scent?

AOTD: I like woodlandy, mossy, oak and Patchouli type scents. Musky. Love it ! #bibliophile #bookaddict #booklover #bookish #bookstagram #bookishcandles #starwars

jfalkens Vanilla, peppermint, musky and I've always wanted a book(or book related) scented one 6y
Sophoclessweetheart @jfalkens That sounds so divine vanilla and peppermint Mmmm! 😍 There are so many good UK stores that sell them! You should grab one, they‘re cheaper than Yankee or other variants x 6y

Just finished Phasma! These are the four that I have left that I‘d like to finish this month- Which one next?!

glitterkitty459 I'm about to start Last Shot!! 7y
NovelGirl82 @glitterkitty459 I‘m kind of leaning towards that or Canto Bight. I just read Ahsoka & Phasma, so I want a break from the “character” books before I start Leia. 7y

We‘ve made it back home, and it‘s time to start my “category per month” reading plan. First up: Star Wars! These are the ones I‘d like to get read this month. Which one should I start with??!!

CrowCAH I‘ve been wanting to get into reading Star Wars books. Do you recommend any book in particular to start with? 7y
NovelGirl82 @CrowCAH Personally, I would say to start where you‘re the most interested. If you‘re a fan of Rogue One, I would say to start with Catalyst, Rebel Rising, then Rogue One. The Force Awakens was also really good, and you get more of the story (like what happened to Poe when he disappeared!). If you want more from the Empire side, I loved Battlefront II! It takes place right after the death star blew. Tarkin was also great. 7y
NovelGirl82 @CrowCAH Thankfully a lot of them can be read out of order, if you know the basic storyline. Like, you can read Rogue One without Catalyst & Rebel Rising, but they give you the backstory on Galen & Lira, then Jyn, before Rogue One. 7y

CrowCAH @NovelGirl82 got it; thanks for the information! I‘ll probably start with something from The Force Awakens. ⭐️ Wars 7y
NovelGirl82 @CrowCAH I really liked TFA! It was fun to learn more of the story. I wondered what happened to Poe when I watched the movie, and got a satisfying answer. If you like audiobooks, they‘re great! Full of the music and sound effects! 7y
CrowCAH @NovelGirl82 ooohhh I dooo!!! An audiobook will definitely be added to the TBR! 7y

Anakin laughed lightly. "Who will restore peace to the galaxy if we don't?"
Obi-Wan returned a tight-lipped nod. "At least you said we." #starwars

Mehso-so

I read this prior to seeing the Revenge of the Sith. The book leads up to the events in the movie. General Grievous has more backstory here. You see how people became suspicious of Palpatine. If you wondered what Obi-Wan meant about Cato Neimoida it's in this book. All the characters you meet in Revenge of the Sith are fleshed out well here. At times it feels slow. But give it time and it'll be worth your while. #starwars
