Found another amazing used bookstore in Foley, AL: JHS is warehouse-sized yet charmingly sectioned off with multiple places to sit with coffee, cookies, and chats. How could I not buy this book with a cover that looks so much like my view of the #beach?
I am not a fan of sad stories. I cried throughout this book. I read it because it had bingo spots. I did like the way the book was told. #MarchMadnessReadingChallenge @Andrew65 @DieAReader @GHABI4ROSES Two Spots on the #MarchMadnessBingo and one spot on the #ISpyBingoMarch @TheAromaofBooks @Clwojick #LitsyLoveReads

“Imagine life is a game in which you are juggling five balls. The balls are called work, family, health, friends, and integrity. And you're keeping all of them in the air. But one day you finally come to understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. The other four balls...are made of glass. If you drop one of these, it will be irrevocably scuffed, nicked, perhaps even shattered“

Day 4
I read this book around 2007 I think! I still think about to this day!! 💔
⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 Stars
A beautiful yet heartbreaking story with mediocre writing (sorry, I must be in minority here...I know a lot of people rave about this one). This could have been so much more, but it was great for a quick read.

This was a tear jerker, and I loved every bit of it!
This book was given to me in a donation for my little free libraries and the person who donated it told me I should read it. well, you know how it goes with all of those books people give you and say you should read, on the stack lol 😂 This was #5 for my #14Books14Weeks. A quick read, def different than your average James Patterson book, much more in the vein of Nicholas Sparks. Reading the diary portion was very emotional!
So many books have had me #inmyfeelings but these were the first ones that came to mind!! 😭😭😭

Someone left a note (with their email) in the last page of the book before putting it in the donation pile. The email address is relating to reading, so maybe he just wants to talk about great books with strangers... maybe I just email him back, and tell him about Litsy. 😆 #Booksurprises #leaveanote
I took this photo earlier, when I first started reading Suzanne‘s Diary for Nicholas. Two hours later, I am a complete wreck. (Thanks for the heads up @TheBookHippie 😭😭😭😭 ) I didn‘t expect it to be as heart wrenching as it was. I‘m pretty sure I cried straight through the last 60 pages. I definitely recommend, but with a BIG heads up that it‘s a freaking emotional rollercoaster.

Suzanne‘s Diary for Nicholas is a book that I read in one day and cried like a baby... I still think about these characters and I read it many years ago... It deserves a reread soon when I think I can handle it!! Lol 😭😭😭

Going w/ Audible today so I can work on this light fixture. I loved this vintage beauty but didn‘t love the chain swag it hung from. I updated it by removing the chain and plug and hardwired it to hang directly at the ceiling. It turns out my project is much more interesting to me than this book. I don‘t like the characters, am annoyed by the narrator, and if this story doesn‘t go anywhere I will not be shocked.
1. I loved it but it has also been the catalyst to get some loved ones and students to realize they are indeed readers.
2. Diana Bishop & Matthew Clairmont

Warning: book violence has occurred.
This is where this little book landed when I chucked it across my bedroom. I feel like I have been emotionally abused by Mr. Patterson, and it was willful and deliberate. I'm not sure I like being manipulated like this!
That said, this was a quick book (Bookout says I read it in just over 2 hours), and I'm not sorry I spent the evening reading it. It's sweet (almost sickeningly so) and simple.
⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book has been on my shelf for about 12 years. 😳
Starting it now!
Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas still makes my heart hurt when I think about... I remember ugly crying when I read it.. 😢😢 With Love from The Inside had the same effect 💕 #Maybookflowers #booksaboutmothers
This has to be one of the best books he has ever written. It touched me heart so deeply. I sat at my desk while working, listening to the audiobook version and sobbed at the end. He writes with such passion and pulls the reader into the story.
A book with my name in the title! I should love it, right? That ending though! PISSED. ME. OFF. Manipulative and sappy. Stick to thrillers, James Patterson! #threwitacrosstheroom #photoadaynov16
Bad stuff happens.Sometimes it makes no sense @ all.Sometimes its unfair.Sometimes it just plain sucks.Bad stuff happens sometimes.Always remember that, but remember that u have to move on somehow. You just pick your head up & stare @ something beautiful like the sky,or the ocean,& u move the hell on.
Overall a pretty great book. It has it's sad, happy, and frustrating parts, but it all adds together and makes the book worth the read. I usually read his thriller genre like books, but was pleasantly surprised by this one.
