A lovely old fashioned #romantsy in the tradition of The Scarlet Pimpernel. Jane Austen makes an appearance as the heroine ‘s BFF. The hero is called Turnip and reminds me of Bertie Wooster and Mr Bingley . Fun holiday reading . My friend‘s Instant Pot has it‘s own seat on the ferry.

Super fun historical fiction featuring Lord Turnip Fitzhugh (who was NOT nicknamed for his mental acuity). 😉

I'm a day late, but I didn't think of it until today. Turnip Fitzhugh is the most perfect #dumbandbeautiful candidate! He started out as just a silly side character, but then Willing gave him a mystery and a romance and it was one of the sweetest and funniest stories in this series! His heroine's bittersweet, passed-over character type reminds me of Anne Elliot a little, which also helped :) I'm due for a re-read this Christmas! #octphotochallenge

What do you mean it's not Christmas? All of the Pink Carnation books are sweet but this one is sugary sweet with icing just what I'm in the mood for 😊
