#12BooksOfChristmas November @Andrew65

I think November was my best reading month of the year so it was hard to pick. This book stuck with me the most though- and I never would have read it if it weren‘t for #FoodAndLit #Canada

LeeRHarry I finished this just before the end of 2024 and know I‘ll be thinking of it for some time. 2w
Andrew65 Not a book I know but looks good. 2w
BarbaraBB I purchased this (probably based on your review) but haven‘t read it yet 2w
kspenmoll This sounds intriguing! 2w
Tamra This one is so good! I look for this book every time I go to a bookshop, but haven‘t found it yet. 2w

#12BooksofChristmas @Andrew65

A great book for spooky season. I was getting impatient for the last season of Stranger Things and this scratched my itch.

#12BooksofChristmas @Andrew65

I read this on one of those stormy September days when the first hints of fall started showing themselves. It was perfect. As for the story itself it would ruin the surprise if I said anything more than I think you should read it.

GinaKButler I read this one in 2024 and loved it, too! 2w
BarbaraBB So good this one! I still want to read 2w

The Ritual | Adam Nevill

HATED this book. Would‘ve been DNF #1 of 2025 if I hadn‘t been buddy-reading with @Lin3han . Four middle-aged white British men wander into the woods and awaken an old Swedish god, who defends her territory. I was rooting for everyone to die bc they were all terrible for their blatant misogyny, fatphobia, antisemitism, and homophobia.

LOVED this one! So glad boyf got it for me for Jolabokaflod. I‘m honestly a little mad I hadn‘t picked it up before then! After three great books from T Kingfisher, safe to say they‘re a solid new favorite.

#12BooksOfChristmas August @Andrew65

I didn‘t have any 5 star reads in August so I‘ll go with this informative book I read out of desperation for #FoodAndLit

All the stars to Litsy Challenges and their hosts because of all the books I read that would have never been on my radar otherwise.

Andrew65 Looks interesting. 2w

June was such a great reading month! Margo was my top read, but I had to add in honorable mentions for Butter, Challenger, and The Postcard

Andrew65 The Postcard has had a number of mentions. 3w
Bookwormjillk @Andrew65 I can‘t believe I was lucky enough to read these 4 A+ books all in one month! 2w
Andrew65 @Bookwormjillk It was definitely a good month for you. 2w

#12BooksOfChristmas @Andrew65

To me the official kick off to summer reading season is when Emily Henry puts out a new book. That‘s why Funny Story was my favorite May read.
