#12BooksofChristmas #June

This one is weird and gross and I love it so much, lol. I probably only know one person I could recommend it to and he read it before me. 😉

Larkken I am intrigued lol 10mo
Andrew65 You do make it seem intriguing. 10mo

Bookzombie @Larkken @Andrew65 While I don‘t want anything spoiled for either of you, maybe read a few of the reviews before you pick it up. There is a good bit of body horror. 🙂 10mo
Andrew65 @Bookzombie Thanks for the information, will check the reviews out. 😁 10mo

On the fifth day of Christmas my true love (the library) brought me this powerful book about leper colonies in Hawaii. So good. One of my favorites this year. #12booksofChristmas

On the fourth day of Christmas…

This was my favorite book of April. Once I started I couldn‘t stop. Stressful in a good way.

The tagged book is, I think, the first in the series but this pictured book isn‘t in the Litsy database. The whole series is good. About a group of siblings in an Idaho mountain town, their father is dead and their mother has so@r mental issues and is living in a different state. Each book is about a different sibling finding love. The relationships make the series. This was #March best book for the #12BooksofChristmas @Andrew65

Andrew65 Always enjoy books about different people in families. 10mo

The cover is gorgeous, the story was compelling. As usual, since it was almost a year ago, the details are fuzzy but this was my best book in #February2023 for the #12BooksofChristmas. @Andrew65

Andrew65 Sounds a wonderful book. 10mo

#12BooksOfChristmas

My highest ranked book of January was The Pull of the Stars. Unfortunately I can‘t remember enough about it to tell you why. I just remember reading it all at once- one of those books where once I started I couldn‘t stop. I‘ll have to put it on my re-read list.

Andrew65 Excellent choice. Amazing how books can be like this! 10mo
Tamra I really enjoy her work too! 10mo

#12Booksof2023 January had an unprecedented SIX 5⭐️ reads and several more that came close! But I always like #12BooksofChristmas not just for the fun of seeing everyone else‘s picks, but because I find it easier to choose favorites after time has passed. Looking back Becky Chambers made the biggest impression on me, and I‘m already itching to reread this one. @Andrew65

Andrew65 I agree, much easier to choose favourite books once time has passed and which has had the most lasting effect. 10mo

Best book of January 2023. I read this for book group and loved it. Although now that it‘s been a year, I‘m fuzzy on the exact details. #12BooksofChristmas @Andrew65

Last book of #12booksofChristmas. I love Helen Grace and can‘t wait for another! 😊

Andrew65 Always great to return to favourite series, then a wait for the next one! Thanks for playing along, it was a great way to review our Reading year. 2y
