It just took so long to get me to care about the characters. And NOTHING HAPPENS in this one. How is it the longest? If this is your favorite Austen, please tell me why, genuinely curious.
This book of short stories was written by my cousin inspired by our family's hometown in Mississippi. It was great for homesickness when I lived abroad. #READATHONSTORIES @Liberty

pickI loved this book! I guessed who did it from the beginning, but it was fun reading Cormoran's investigation. Robin and Strike are such loveable characters. Overall great read! Also, my library's copy appears to be a first edition. The blurbs on the back are great!!
so-soI love everything about this book except the part where she has to take off all her clothes for the pharmacist. I can see how it works in the story and the denouement where she comes out of the fairy tale she's been living in and into adulthood, I just hate that it's like "oops she forgot everything the swallow man taught her and now the only way out is to strip." This is the sole reason I'm not making this a "pick"

pickCarrie's book is not *about* feminism, but it feels like a great feminist hug, that says "it's okay to be who you are, even if that's a little insane". I wasn't expecting this book to mean so much to me.
pickThrough most of the book, I thought, this is a good book but I don't understand the hype. Then I reached the end, and was blown away. I especially appreciate the way books are treated in the text. This was one of my favorite passages.
