Such a mesmerizing story beautifully written with magic at its forefront. A story about the love between sisters and the lengths they‘ll go to save each other.

Finished this one last night. I was pleasantly surprised by the story. The cover was a bit of a turnoff, but the story of how the narrator became covered in tattoos was horrifying and intriguing.

Where were you ten years ago? What if that‘s the last thing you remembered? Alice tries to put the pieces of the last ten years together while she struggles to regain her memory.

A very moving story about a girl who stood up for what she believed. Malala is shot by the Taliban, because even as a young girl she spoke out against banning females from gaining an education. Her story walks the reader through what it was like when the Taliban took over Pakistan.

I feel like this book has two parts. The first part sets up what it‘s like to live in a hockey town. The second part is how all that can unravel when their loyalty is in question.
