The Hunger | Alma Katsu

I devoured this book (no pun intended 😂). I wanted a dark historical fiction and this fit the bill. A darker version of the Donner party with a supernatural element.

Has anyone else read other books by this author? Are they all dark like this because I‘d be interested in reading more stories like this.

Starting this book today. The Get Booked podcast talked about it to fill the Game of Thrones hole in your heart. (I‘ll probably never read the GoT books, I‘ve tried to many times), but I love fantasy books.
