My current read. It's thick and a bit of a struggle because so many details are missing without reading, but its worthy. Lots of characters to track.

But it has a POV of a cat, so it can't be all bad.

Bailedbailed

Had to bail at the 4 hour mark. The narrator bugged me and the text sounded too much like a first draft with no editing for my ears. It had no smooth flow to it.

(More to come.)

The movie was horrible. Books are supposed to be better, right? This was almost script to novel bad. But I'm only at 50%. Just want to see if it ends as bad.

@Litsy can you please address the issues with the Google Store and Android app? I'm seeing comments on the Facebook page about it.

CampbellTaraL Truly! I almost uninstalled the Litsy app on Tuesday thinking that would fix the broken image problem and am SO glad I didn't. 1y

Just a list of the five short stories available in the collection:

1) Visiting Rebecca
2) Investment of Spirits
3) The Haunting of a Guard
4) Soul Explorations
5) Called Home

I'm sure you may want a review or a rating from me on it, but I can't.
I wrote it. :)

ReadingOver50 Great title! 4y
gilroyc I'm actually leaning toward bailing on this. The POV is unstable and the opening purple prose put me on edge. 3y

I enjoy a good mystery. Always have since I watched scooby doo and read Nancy Drew. So next one to try.

Every year I have a little fun. I create a poll of the books I read the previous year and see if others have ever read those same books. 2020 was a pitiable year (only 32 books) but here's the poll for 2020:

And in case people missed it, here's the 2019 poll:

A little leery about this book. First chapter feels like this is going to be a not so subtle push for a philosophy disguised as fiction.

ImperfectCJ I found this one to be a solid introduction, and I also enjoyed the tagged book. The techniques in both come in quite handy in pandemic times. 4y

Bailedbailed

There are fantasy books with a romance thread/theme. Then there are romance books with a fantasy setting. This definitely is the latter and just not for me. Ugh.
