Really enjoyed is cozy that takes place in Pittsburgh, my favorite city I've ever visited. The plot had all kinds of twist and turns that I didn't see coming. Good character development, I look forward to reading more in this series

Never read a MC/Rocker before but found it when searching for MC books. I was surprised how good it was, I was worried that it would showcase MC in a horrible romantic light but it showed the unromantic side as well. 5 more books in the series and I look forward to them all

I finished April with a thiller. This was a fast easy read. Page Turner that left me wanting more thrillers in my life. I saw some of the twists and turns but not all and it wrapped up nicely. Left in a book hangover so trying to decide what to read next.

My first Goodreads won, and it was good one. This story is entertaining even tho I didn't like any of the characters. I pretty much know immediately how done it, but the quirky neighborhood kept me turning the pages and reading past my bedtime. Plus a great little twisty ending. I hope this book does well once it's finally releases in June. I will definitely read more by her if given a chance

BookLineNSinker I would definitely read more by this author!! 1y

Read all 3 in the Happy Camper Mystery series. Set in the Black Hills, South Dakota. Zo runs a tourist shop where locals and tourists came for just about anything. She has no family, grew up bouncing around foster homes She teams up with the local Forest Ranger to solve murder and along the way finds a few clues about her mysterious birth and birthmother, and local history. Very well written that left me wanting more and continues to get better.

I kept hearing how great this book is,and the audiobook was the way to go. What I huge disappointment. I hated the characters, every single one of them. The story line was boring, repetitive, and so stereotypical. Just sex, drugs, and rock and roll but no real depth to the story or characters so I bailed at 44%. Maybe I should've stayed with it, but days later I still have no desire to pick it back up

K.Wielechowski I felt the same way. I did finish it and the end did help redeem it a bit but definitely didn‘t live up to the hype. 2y
BookLineNSinker I AM SO HAPPY I FOUND LIKE-MINDED INDIVIDUALS REGARDING THIS BOOK!!! I hate this book, I don't like the audiobook at all and tried the hardcover but it was just the same old stereotypes. Thank you for bucking the system with me!! 1y

In A Bakeshop Mystery #2, Jules accepts an invitation to join a TV baking contest to help save her family's bakery. But she soon finds herself wrapped up in another murder mystery where every one has secrets they are trying to hide. Who was willing to go as far as murder to keep it hidden. I enjoyed this one as much as the first in the series.

Soon the Tourist have arrived for the town's Shakespeare Festival, there's a wild forest fire, and now a murder on the loose. Loved it and movin on to the next book in this series

Fun Cozy Christmas Romance. Story about the love between two sisters. One who appears to have a perfect life and one has the appearance of being rebellious and carefree. The choice of 2 attractive men. A run down book shop but what awaits inside is a treasure. Appearances vs reality. What I didn't like was that it was a little long winded and a little too predictable but overall a good holiday read that feels like a hallmark movie.

This book goes by these 3 titles. Corrag tells her story in a jail cell waiting for execution for Witchcraft. She's fled her home in England for safety and found herself in the Scottish Highlands. Where she befriended the villagers of Glencoe and finally found some peace and a place to call her own. But trouble soon arrives at their doorstep. I also learned about the Glencoe Massacre of 1692. Highly recommend this for fans of Historical Fiction

I've read a few of her books before fun, entertaining, lighthearted romances. It's what I wanted and expected but thats not what I got. I got so much more. What I got was a hard look at many social issues, Race, social classes, women's rights, and our criminal justice system. Do not let this cover and title fool you. Its about life's sugar and salt. One of the best books I've read this year.

I love this series but this one was only ok for me. Agatha follows James to Cyprus after their ditched wedding. She just seemed so desperate for him. I missed the village and people of Carsley, and wasn't interested in this plot in another country. The introduction of Charles was nice and I hope he remains in the series. I think he's a better match for Agatha. I'll continue on in the series and find out.

This grab my interest because it's so different about a polyamorous couple. I'm polyamorous and was thrilled to see a book about it. Well it was just so bad, I made it thru 25% but couldn't go on. But on a wild guess because polyamorous couples do not live this way, she's probably crazy stalking and delusional. But that's just my guess

This is my 3rd Chris Bohjalian novel, after Midwives and The Hour of The Witch both of which I rated 5 stars. I enjoy it but was my least of the 3 and I will probably rate a 3 on good reads. Still will not be my last of his. The ending was unpredictable but very unrealistic and I found it humorous for some reason. Shes a very unlikable character that has a drinking problem which causes a hard fast downward spiral.

Maria514626 Oh, that‘s disappointing! It sounded so good. This one was amazing. (edited) 2y
