so-soThis novel was just okay. It seemed like there were a lot of details and information presented that had little to nothing to do with the storyline. I also struggled to relate to any of the characters; they were either too unrealistic or too different from an average person. The audiobook didn‘t bring any extra enjoyment. While I appreciated that there were two narrators, they were both too monotone in their delivery and lacked inflection
pickI actually liked this one, which is an unpopular opinion. I hated some of the characters, but was drawn in by all the crazy people in this neighborhood. I will say, I was surprised by the twist but not thoroughly. I could see everything unraveling but still didn't know exactly what was happening until it was literally spelled out for me lol. Overall, it kept me turning pages so it's a pick for me! ⭐⭐⭐✨
pickWhat a great debut novel! Told in alternating perspectives, Alexis & her growing family move to a ritzy neighborhood where Blair Bard is an established & respected fixture. While some of the plot‘s twists are more expected than others, I found myself thoroughly hooked in this drama that reminded me a little bit of our neighborhood (minus the corpses, rampant infidelity & backbiting!). Alexis gets tiresome but I‘m looking forward to her 2nd book!

so-soA domestic thriller that is a slow burn. It is dual POV's, Blair and Alexis. Alexis is a mom with another on the way, always wanting to be on the finer things in life. Blair is rich and seems to have it all, great job, great house, great husband and money.
Alexis gets Sam, her husband, to buy a house in an enfluent neighborhood. She thinks this will be the perfect place to raise their kids. Soon after moving, things in their life start falling 👇

pickMy first Goodreads won, and it was good one. This story is entertaining even tho I didn't like any of the characters. I pretty much know immediately how done it, but the quirky neighborhood kept me turning the pages and reading past my bedtime. Plus a great little twisty ending. I hope this book does well once it's finally releases in June. I will definitely read more by her if given a chance

pickI love getting ARC'S! This story is so dark and twisty and I was there for every page. I must say our FMC is almost unlikable which made me like her if that makes sense. She is who she is. This book comes out in June so perfect beach read or summer read when needing to avoid the heat. Keep your eye out for this one.
