3.5 ⭐ I love all the characters in this series. Well...almost all. There is that one woman...

5 ⭐ By the author of When Bad Things Happened to Good People. Rabbi Kushner answered questions with answers I could understand.
5⭐ A sequel to The Marrow Thieves. I don't know if there will be more in the series because the author didn't plan it that way but wrote more when requested by her publisher. But I will read. Dystopian, Indigenous Peoples, young adult.

I think this is Anne Hillerman's best so far. But I really want to see more of Chee who seems very over-looked since the author took over the series from her dad, Tony Hillerman at his passing.

Bailed for now. It just wasn't the right timing. Maybe will come back to it someday.
"I remember being pestered by a sense of dread as I walked to my car that day, pressed down by a wave of foreboding that swirled around my head and broke against the evening in small ripples.

4⭐. I enjoyed this until the end which was unsatisfactory with left to many strings left hanging. The author writes beautifully of nature. Set in Yellowstone National Park.
I remember giving this book 5⭐ when I read it many years ago. It would be a pleasure to reread books I once gave 5⭐.
