6 years, damn!!
6 years, damn!!
Filled with brutal and devastating self-defence techniques for hand-to-hand combat.
It's got photographic demonstrations throughout and lots of combinations.
I'm glad I read it, but it does get repetitive.
⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆
This is an excellent book. It's got everything you need to know about growing fruit and vegetables, whether it be in your back garden or an allotment.
It goes through the months of the year, letting you know the best things to plant on that month and how to plant and care for it.
It's a reference book, so it's a valuable companion through the year to keep you right and learn new and better ways to plant, care for, and harvest your crops.
This is a dark, fast-paced story with well-crafted characters.
The villain, Bullet Tooth, is as nasty as they come.
It's gritty, brutal, and full of gore, so it's certainly not for the squeamish.
The ending felt rushed, but I still had a lot of fun with this one.
This is a dark, brutal, and violent coming of age story.
It's constructed very well.
The characters are well-developed.
There was a part which was so disturbing for me, I almost DNF, but I'm glad I began the next chapter and completed the book.
Bowyer certainly has a style.
Another very thought-provoking book from David Icke.
He always manages to go one step further than the previous one. His explanation of the illusion in which we live and that we will face even at the moment of 'death' is spectacular.
Read it with an open mind, and everything will make sense.
Hi everyone! 🙋♂️
Yea, I'm still alive. It's been three months.
I've been in a slump.
Trying to find time for reading between work and family life is tough for me right now.
I'm going to try and get my next review up today, though. I'm almost finished David Icke's new book.
What's been your best read lately?
Written by former US Naval Intelligence Officer Bill Cooper. He unveils the truth about the assassination of JFK, the war on drugs, the Secret Government, and UFOs.
It's probably the most informative book you will ever read.
Brilliantly researched in all aspects of the technocratic apparatus that's been set up all around us by the elite.
It's very well written, thoroughly eye-opening, and thought-provoking.
Some may dismiss this as tin hat nonsense, but they won‘t be able to argue with the facts and reference material.
This is a book complied by one of John Lennon's closest friends, Pete Shotton.
It gives an in-depth insight into the relationship between the two men, from their childhood days, until Lennon's final days in New York.
It follows the known John Lennon/Beatles' story with Shotton's own memories woven in. The included photos are great coming from Pete's personal collection, which probably won't appear elsewhere.
Today marks 5 years of Litsy! 😀🎈
I loved the artwork in this, but there wasn't much of a story to it, which is unfortunate because there was a lot of potential here.
I'm not going to slaughter it, though, because it was visually pleasing.
Jones exposes the sinister Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum in this book, and it provides us with an idea of what they really have in store for us. Despite their claims to want a better future for all, it really is a better future for them and digitally controlled imprisonment for the rest of us.
It also highlights how they're manipulating global events, e.g., climate change, covid-19, digital IDs, wars, and more to achieve their aims.
The characters are brilliant, some likeable, and some despicable.
It's incredibly bloody and gory.
I got "Assault On Precinct 13" vibes from it, it was fun!
If you're a fan of extreme horror, you'll love it.
If you want a better understanding of how the global food industry works, how it affects our bodies, our environment, and the planet, then go read this book.
It's brilliantly written, and I think there's something important for everyone to learn from it.
"?? ?? ??? ??? ?? ??????? ????'? ??????, ?? ?? ???? ????? ?? ????"
This was like nothing I've read before.
It's like essays, short stories, anecdotes, satire, diary & notebook entries all in one.
It's a very interesting read, filled with ideas, mesmerising information, and quotes.
It's the most thought-provoking book I've read in a while.
This book is a study of the role of surveillance in our society and how it's being used for social control and how our personal and public lives are increasingly on display for governments, merchants, employers, hackers and the merely curious to see.
There's a lot more to it than than, though. It's a detailed and extremely well researched book that's left me more educated on surveillance, in general.
This is a fast-paced read about a high-school girl who happens to practice witchcraft.
I felt like it was written like a movie script. It worked, though.
Excellent well-developed characters.
Tamara is a victim of bullying, and I felt sympathy towards her.
She's deceived and ends up tragically killed.
She comes back from the dead to get her revenge, but in the process, innocent people are killed. So I couldn't sympathise with her after that.
This wasn't up to the standard of any other Dredd that I've read.
It just misses the mark due to what I believe to be poor, rushed writing, and ridiculous artwork I places, such as the depictions of the Four Horsemen. They just look ridiculous.
I felt like the additional stories at the end of the main story were better.
⭐️⭐️☆☆☆
This is Frank Miller's retelling of the Batman origin story. It's well thought through, and the artwork adds depth to the story.
There's no villains in this one. It's just an introduction to Bruce Wayne and how he became Batman.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆
1️⃣ I'd say The Trap by David Icke because it's so profound and eye-opening.
2️⃣ 'salems Lot by Stephen King
3️⃣ I'd like to meet Clive Barker. He seems like a really nice guy, and I've heard he really engages with fans.
Thanks for the tag @Ast_Arslan
I tag everyone. 🙋♂️

Another very entertaining read by Brian G. Berry.
It's completely crazy but that's what I love about the Snow Shark novels and the author's style.
This particular one brought me enjoyment.
Looking forward to reading more from this author.
1️⃣ This coming Monday, me and @LostInSpace are going to my home country, Scotland, for a week, and we'll be going to Loch Lomond where there's a Jurassic Park themed restaurant! 😀
2️⃣ To be able to learn anything instantly, To be able to go back in time and fix things in my life, Proper food/water/shelter for all people of the world
Thanks for the tag @Ast_Arslan
I tag everyone.
These are beautifully written short stories.
The first-person writing is very clever, and I think anyone into psychological horror is going to really enjoy this collection.
The stories themselves are dark and horrific at times.
Not for the fainthearted.
This was an excellent read, I really liked it, and I'd have read it in one sitting if I wasn't so busy.
Mike is a middle-aged crime scene cleaner. His new co-worker is a beautiful young woman who finds blood erotically stimulating. Their joint work leads to increasingly perverted and dangerous situations.
There's various aspects to this story and a recurring theme of sexual deviancy, such as necrophilia.
A must for extreme horror fans!
The government has swiftly dealt with many a crisis... But can it survive the diabolical ATTACK OF THE KILLER TOMATOES! 🍅
This one was light-hearted, cheesy, humorous, and just an all-around fun read.
Highly recommend.
1️⃣ I'm currently doing a rewatch of my favourite TV series, Supernatural. I'm also watching Peaky Blinders for the first time.
2️⃣ The countryside in general, into forests etc. I love it.
3️⃣ Resident Evil 2. I don't game anymore, though.
#WondrousWednesday @Eggs
It was an entertaining read, I just couldn't put it down.
It's written so well with excellent characters
The main character in this is a nasty piece of work, and the story is told from his deranged perspective.
Very dark.
Very good.
Throne of Birch
This is a story set between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi where Luke, Leia and co are trying to rescue Han from Boba Fett. The story ends when they're about to infiltrate Jabba's palace.
The development of Darth Vader's character in this is especially fantastic, as you get to see more into his mind than you do in the films.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆
I wouldn't say his poetry was brilliant or anything, but it's intriguing.
The poems in this book are from 1966-1971, and they were unpublished until the release of this book. It's not the best of his work, hence why it was left unpublished by him.
Wilderness lets you see a little more into the mind of one of the greatest songwriters.
Only for die-hard fans.
⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆
Amazing storytelling and artwork, as always.
Another good entry in the series.
That cliffhanger at the end, though!
I liked the Wild West theme of this volume, but I feel like this one is a weaker volume due to the fact there's not a lot of story covered in it, and it felt slow.
There's still good moments within this volume, but not on par with previous volumes.
It was a quick read before they head on their next adventure, and I'm curious to see what happens next and how relationships develop.
This is a compelling read for Resident Evil fans.
It begins with the prehistory and Capcom's beginnings, and it ends somewhere around 2005/2006 time period.
It's basically a detailed examination of the first ten years of the game series.
It was very interesting, and I learned a lot.
I wouldn't even class myself as a gamer, but I'm a huge fan of this series, and Resident Evil 2 is just an absolute masterpiece.
This is a must-read for fans.
Amazing book that tells the horrors suffered by the Native Americans at the hands of the white man.
It's shocking how these indigenous people were trusted, and reading this book was not easy at times, but I think everyone should read it.
Another really good instalment, with the ever brilliant dialogue and artwork.
A little slow as far as story progression goes, but the end is one of the most powerful scenes in the series.
Unexpected alliances stand in the way of Marko and Alana, while Hazel gets help from an equally surprising side. How long does the young family have to fight? Meanwhile, an old enemy takes her track again...
This was an exciting volume, incredibly creative and impressively drawn!
This volume pretty much starts off where the previous volume ended.
The tension in the story never once wanes, and the quality of the artwork is superb as usual.
Eager to continue.
This is a tense short novel, I enjoyed the storyline, and the characters were incredibly written with clever dialogue.
Overall, a very well constructed story, the ending was left open for a sequel I felt.
It took me so long to read it because I've been so busy with work! 🙄👎🏼
It's definitely one for the horror fans out there.
This volume was extremely good, my favourite since the first one.
There's a lot of creative ideas and interesting plot twists.
I won't reveal anything about the content because everyone should be able to experience the story for themselves. 4⭐️
I don't think much happened in this one compared with the previous volumes, but it was still a good read.
Overall, it's a good story, engaging with awesome artwork. 3⭐️
This has the same drive as the first volume and was an exceptionally good continuation for the series, but what it did lack was something at the end to propel it to the next level. It just tapered off with no cliffhanger or anything.
It's still a very enjoyable read, though, and the writing and characters are awesome.
I'm excited to see where it's all leading.
It's the greatest novel of all time.
Every time I revisit this novel, it's like seeing old friends, I just love the characters.
1️⃣ Joggies and a fluffy jumper
2️⃣ I'm currently reading one book, but I'm planning to make it two soon as I'm going to be starting Saga Vol:2 when I get a minute.
Thanks for the tag @PageShifter 🙋♂️

This one rambled on too much with unnecessary descriptions and information.
I think I know why the author did that though, for filler.
Instead, he should have just written clever dialogue or just made it shorter.
All that stuff aside though, there were some entertaining and gory parts.
The shark was f#cking terrifying, so savage!
Overall, it could have used better editing.
Decided to go for a re-read of my favourite book. 📖❤️
The dialogue is occasionally funny, the characters are so original and the plot was also pretty good with twists and turns.
The characters and artwork were on point.
The artwork was beautiful with a whole range of colours used, the characters are three-dimensional and complex.
Looking forward to Vol:2
This story occurs in 1962 and depicts the political intrigues between Imperial Japan and Nazi Germany as they rule the partitioned United States.
I love the alternative history concept, it was very interesting. However, I struggled with the writing. I found the style choppy and hard to follow. It also took me a while to work out who was who and who was related to who.
I still found it worth the read though. 3/5☆
