pickI loved to get to know more about V's past, and I really loved Jane who was smart and sassy. There were also so many scenes showing what happened to other characters in the series and there is still so much coming!
I am not 100 % what I think about the ending and things that happened there. But this was a compelling read.

so-soFor me the FMC didn't feel a real badass. She was so dedicated to kill someone but I didn't get the badass vibes. She felt just young.
This had pretty little to offer, there was a side plot and some people after the FMC but that felt lame and I wasn't worried for her or anything like that.

so-soJulian & Thea were likable but I can't say I rooted for them 100 %. The beginning was good but at some point I wasn't super invested.
I hate cliffhanger endings. This didn't work really well as an individual book.
I was intrigued by a side story. There was a strange group of people and I want to know what they want and who they are.

This wasn't just a thriller: there was a lot of scenes handling family relationships / broken family. But the mystery was there all the time and I was intrigued to know more.
This wasn't really original story, it was devastatingly easy to guess the most important things. I have to admit that I was expecting some great twist.

so-soMiri was a likable character but Leah was a bit flat. Through Miri it was pretty easy to relate to their emotions/relationship but I would have wanted to feel more.
This was a disappointing read because I was expecting to get a horror story and this wasn't that at all. Plotwise not so much happened and nothing that I would count as horror.

The setting was amazing and that made me have so high expectations in the first place. I just love horror with this kind of setting. This was pretty gory and had several disturbing scenes.
The thing I didn't like was the format: the whole story was told through interviews and I just didn't like that.

pickI really enjoyed this anthology: even though stories were written by different authors and characters varied characters felt fleshed out.
Stories were about bravery, about persons who are making their voices heard. They were uplifting to read.
These stories were interesting and worth reading.

so-soReportes who were main characters in this story felt interesting. At the beginning they talked about their childhoods and that gave them some depth.
The setting was an abandoded church and that could have been amazing (scary!) setting. Descriptions were non-existent so there is that :( Everythings was over before you were immersed into the story.
I enjoed as long as this lasted but I think this could have offered so much more.
