What a fun night! Pierce Brown is a delight! Road tripped to Austin with my bestie to meet Pierce and get our books signed. Met up with fellow Howlers and had a great time. ♥️📖📚🐺

Meeeeoowwwy Christmas Littens! From me and Alexander Rascalton (aka Rascal) to all of you lovers of books and bookish things!! Read on 2018!! ♥️🎄🎅🏻🤶🏻✨#catsoflitsy
I loved Practical Magic (book and movie, even if the movie takes some liberties), so a story about the Aunts as young girls was an exciting prospect. This doesn‘t disappoint. The story of how the Aunts became who they were is marked with loss and tragedy, but also light and love. You learn about their brother,,Vincent, and also Maria Owens and the curse. In short, everything you‘d want in an Alice Hoffman story! ♥️📚
Thankful for books and book lovers! Hope all of you have a wonderful day and have something to be thankful for, everyday! ♥️🦃📚📚📖📕
I‘m having concentration issues while reading lately. Just sooo much going on at work, been sick, etc. So, decided to put all other books aside and delve into the latest Charlie Davidson mystery! As usual, Darynda Jones doesn‘t disappoint! It was wonderful and ended with an unexpected twist. Cannot wait for #13! ♥️♥️
Got a chance to meet David Tennant with my two besties today! Walking up for this picture, he hit me full on with that mega watt smile, dimples, freckles, and his wonderful Scottish Brogue! 💋💋
Sooooo many books I want!! Especially all the great 20th anniversary Buffy the Vampire Slayer books! Hardest part of my job. Restraint in book buying. 📚📚📚
@ AllenStClair tagged me in this so here's my #5forDinner ( really could have kept going😉)
Neil Gaiman, Anne and Christopher Rice, JK Rowling, and S. E. Hinton ( the Outsiders is still one of my all time favorite books📖❤️)
Fan-freaking-tastic! Finally got around to reading this, and it was great!! I am even more stoked for the series. 💖💖💖
Just could not get past the character's whiny narrative. There are really only so many times you need to say you reeeeaaally fancy your best friend. Had to give up. ☹️
Forgot to thank Tiffy_Reads for putting together the #letshygeeswap ! It was my first one and I had so much fun! I hope to be able to participate in others. Thank you. 📚📖☕️💖😘
I love love love EVERYTHING, @CandycaneBelle !! I truly do! Thank you so much! ❤️📚☕️📖#letshygeebookswap
This is a great collection of awesome authors, characters, and stories! If you're looking for a fast summer read, this is your book!
This series is a soapy delight! I am a bit sad that it is only a trilogy, though. If you grew up with Dallas and Dynasty, this is a love letter to that kind of storytelling. Fun!
I think maybe Sherrilyn has been spreading herself thin with prepping the Dark Hunters and Chronicles of Nick for TV and movies. Her last few books felt lackluster. This one at least sets up a hopefully good story for next time. I still enjoyed this one, it just wasn't a big wow for me.
V.E. Schwab signs $1M deal with Tor Books
The Shades of Magic author will write four more books with the sci-fi publisher.
V.E. Schwab, the best-selling author of the Shades of Magic series has signed a million-dollar deal with publisher Tor Books.
I've done countless Percy Jackson displays for my store, and tonight I realized that when you put the books side by side in order it makes one large picture! I cannot believe I've never noticed it before! 🤣🤣😜
One of my all time favorite books. I've been in a slump lately, so I decided to re read Fortier's beautiful debut. As a fan of the Bard's story of the epic star crossed lovers, I found Ms. Fortier's modern take a delight! The back and forth between Romeo and Guilietta to our present day Juliet is wonderful! Still feeling a little out of sorts though, so maybe I should re read another favorite? Maybe Jennifer Crusie's Bet Me📚.
I was really looking forward to this book. While I will say it wasn't a disappointment, it wasn't quite what I hoped. I know that there is a need to introduce everyone, but it seemed like parts of it twisted up and frankly, I was lost a few times. Nevertheless, I will return and hope for a more straightforward story next time.
Super excited this came in today! I set up a display immediately!❤️
Lucas Davenport has a new job that is perfect for his skills set. Chasing down Bad guys and Assholes is what he does best, and with his new position as a US Marshall, well, let's just say the Bad guys really don't stand a chance. What a way to keep a character fresh after so many books! ✨👍🏻✨📚📚❤️
Second book of the series is just as quirky and wonderful as the first! This is a fun series for anyone who wants an enjoyable addition to your TBR pile. Cannot wait for the next! 💋📖📚
All books now on hold while I delve into the latest Sandford novel! One of my favorite authors and one of my favorite characters, Lucas Davenport!! Yay! ❤️💋❤️💋
I know I selected pick, but it was a half hearted pick. I love Sherrilyn, I love her worlds, but lately it feels like the characters are going through the motions. There's no big WOW moments or amazing revelations like before. I'm not even sure the threads of the series are still in play. I'm hoping these last few stories are just a slump, and the next ones get back on track.
My thoughts have been scattered for the past few months with all of our real world problems, so my reading has suffered. However, I finally finished this story! A great trilogy and an exciting finish to Ms. Schwab's tale of magic, pirates, monsters, thieves, princes, and adventure! She was especially adept at world building and character growth throughout. I highly recommend this trilogy to anyone in search of an adventurous read! 💯👏🏻❤️📚
Made these for an event at our Barnes & Noble Saturday. I'm incredibly happy with how they turned out! 😁
Absolutely obsessed with both Lin and his Masterpiece! This is a great behind the scenes look at what went into the Musical from start to finish. Also, as is his way, Lin gives each member of this Company their moment to shine in the book, from Chernow to his collaborators and inspirations. Infinite stars for this joyful celebration bound in book form! Bravo!
I wanted to like this book, the premise was intriguing. However, the story lost me on the whole teen love angle. It would've been better served as the characters finally meeting and forging a friendship as they solved the case. Instead, Jamie pining for Holmes sort of slogged it down for me. I had to push myself to finish. ☹️ The authors love of the original is evident and I'm sure some will enjoy her take.I probably won't venture past this foray.
My detour into a modern Holmes and Watson to keep things fresh. 📚🔎❤️#myyearofsherlock
I liked this story better than Four Letter Word. My only nit-pick would be the way the characters talk at times. Sure, you're going for realistic speech, but if I was around these people for long, I would flip out at the lazy speech. That said, the characters and story were good. Their story believable. Just a saucy romance.
