I've loved this weekend, it's the most I've read in ages! Between studying, working, trying to get healthy, etc, I don't get much time to sit and read. I do feel a bit guilty for being so lazy, but I've enjoyed every minute ❤️📚

So many emotions!! Sorrow, anger, love, grief, this book really puts you through the ringer.
It's where Sebold writes about grief, or the love/distance between the characters that it hits me the most.

Slightly peed off that my timer dropped out when I went for a tea break, but I should have done a screen grab - it's was the first/only time I forgot to!

Part 2
This is genre contemporary fiction around 2006, not sure of exact publish date. The man character is a young woman who dies and goes to "heaven" and is an intake secretary to others who have recently died. If I remember right it's kind of funny. One of her first intakes is a teenage girl who is a handful. And this is about all I remember, except I think there was blue colors on the cover, maybe? Please HELP ?and thanks!!

Finally finished this book on my break today. It was definitely not a thriller like I thought it would be for #Spookathon but I loved the simple nod to how grief moves though people and a family. Yet, there was a weird part in the end I wasn‘t fond of at all and I understand how many people complained that the story moved very slowly. So I‘m on the fence about who/when I would recommend people read it. #TheLovelyBones #AliceSebold
