Loved this book and the group that was set up, to think what could be hidden by pies! #NationalPieDay

23. National Pie Day
For this prompt I decided to go with Sweetness At The Bottom of the Pie. It‘s about an 11 year old amateur sleuth named Flavia de Luce. Flavia has a penchant for poisons and is extremely intelligent. As the book picks up, Flavia soon finds herself on track to solving a crime that has happened.
Set in the 1950s, this murder mystery is the first in a series.

Here are 5 books I‘ve enjoyed that involve pie 🥧!

#JanuaryJazz Day 23: #NationalPieDay reminded me of the spinach pie or spanakopita we had earlier this week - paired with baklava cheesecake in one of our favourite Greek restaurants in Abu Dhabi. 💕 Paired book is fascinating - I feel like such a nerdy student learning about the etymology of words, syntax and morphology, and structure/function of language - and its role in oppression and domination and empire-building.
“In the Dark Dark Triple Chocolate Truffle Pie” 🥧Made this little baby for #NationalPieDay 😋
