Day 1 of #LitsyWalkers! It was a decent walk for my first day. COLD! But I was bundled up (as you can see in the pic, lol).
Is it just me? This book makes me angry. Maybe that gave me a little extra energy, haha. I don‘t know, I feel like Marie Kondo is judging me and being awfully hard on me. 😝

PagesByTheWater I love what she has to say, but I do feel her method is best suited for those who live in small spaces like apartments or people who live in the city. That being said, I feel like some people can find ways to incorporate her method in small parts so they can reap the benefits. I plan on using her method to clear out our clothes and make final decisions on books I‘ve been on the fence with keeping for years now. (edited) 6y

julesG 👏👏👏 Good job! Don't worry about Marie Kondo, she seems to rile up a lot of people. I have changed over to her method of folding the laundry (most of it), but since my unread and read books spark joy and I don't live in a humid area, I'm going to keep them. 6y

Flaneurette To me the takeaway of her method is getting rid of stuff without guilt, whether it was a gift or you spent a lot of money on the item, it is ok to get it out of your life. If you watch the show the after homes still have a lot of stuff, they aren‘t minimalist by any definition. For some reason many people need an authority figure to tell them this! 6y
SamanthaMarie I did my clothes with her method and really like how they look folded the way she does! And I got rid of things that my husband likes or were gifts from friends but that *I* did not like. I also used her method for books, but kept almost all of them except a small handful 😂 I haven't done anything else. Meh. I like what @Flaneurette took away from it!! I think that is true. 6y

Kaye @Flaneurette @SamanthaMarie If it tells me to get rid of stuff I don‘t like or need, I already do that. I don‘t like clutter or unnecessary stuff that I never use. I‘m the opposite of a pack rat. If I didn‘t use it this week, I throw it out. I bet I have to buy a new turkey baster every blasted year because I only use it on the holidays. 6y
